Good news. If they fill in here I might be able to get a decent signal in the house and switch back to sprint. Fingers crossed -
I think the problem in Katy is there just is not enough towers out here. ( I live in Katy) Just north of I-10 I get great LTE due to the tower behind the vfw there. Over by the mall and chick fil a area you spoke of I drop to 3g there but pick LTE up driving past that into cinco ranch. Then back to 3g out in Richmond off 99. I think they just need to get some more towers in this area since the explosion in population they last few years or so. I drive all over the west side of Houston and get great LTE where the tower spacing is a lot better.

It seems to only send double if I select to send from my cell or if someone text me for the first time. I've tested sending from my phone (Nex 5) to my work phone (IPhone 5) and it is sending double and receiving 4 or 5 texts. It seems to work fine if I send the first text using google voice or there is a thread already started and using google voice number or smart reply. My number is full integrated so I'm sure that is part of the problem. ( same number for cell and gv) the only other problem I have is since its gv it's using data and if I send a text using gv and then take a call or have no data I won't receive a text back because its using gv.
