  1. So, they've taken probably their most important market (unlimited data). Made it dramatically more expensive, so the people that don't need unlimited on all lines that should be happy on other carriers will have a cheaper monthly bill. They're also closer than ever in pricing to VZW and AT&T, all before Network Vision is done... With a big backer like SoftBank coming in wouldn't it make sense to either A. Try and maybe lower pricing for Unlimited data customers or B. Keep the pricing the same at least until NV is fully completed.
  2. No, you are not badass just because you wear a baseball cap backwards and drive a 20 year old 3 series... Go oversteer into a tree please...

  3. I'd bet it's per line on family plans, but I wouldn't worry too much. The people that have been kicked because of excessive roaming deserved it, it's normally only in cases where there is both extreme roaming usage and a large time spent in roaming areas. Hitting over the roaming limit every once in a while won't be a big issue. The school I used to attend was a mainly stone/brick type constructed building, so once you walked into it most PCS signals from both T-Mo and Sprint were unusable. As a result I ended up on VZW 850 a lot and had quite a few months where I went over 300mb roaming and that was over a course of probably 2 1/2 years. Never got a letter or any mention. Unless your really pushing it they probably aren't going to take issue.
  4. You don't get massive roaming fees, they first send a warning about excessive roaming or maybe two. After that if you don't lower your roaming or eliminate it they will drop your service and give you a period of time to port out your number.
  5. So, only for existing customers. Or people that decide to poke around late after they've signed up on the new plans. I'm talking availability as in, listed on the main plans page so people don't have to go looking.
  6. Well your point about other plans being available without the stipulation appears to be false as of today, unless the older plans are still available via in store or telesales. In which case they most likely won't get any attention and die off quickly.
  7. RT @UberFacts: People who play videogames are less likely to have nightmares.

  8. Bitch... You are wwwwaaaayyyyy too full of yourself... That's not #GayBoyProblems. Pipe the fuck down.

  9. Never said I could do anything, this line simply makes it easier for them to eliminate it. Normally all carriers let users grandfather in if their plans are eliminated. This is the first time I've ever seen something that seems so specifically against that in the T&C. I could very well be wrong and other companies may have similar lines, I just find it a little worrying.
  10. Here's my biggest issue over all this, do people really not take issue with the fact that Sprint just added a line in their T&C that basically states, we can move you to a new plan at basically any time we want should your current plan become unavailable. Normally you'd just be grandfathered in, like countless numbers of SERO users have been. It basically paves the way for them to totally obliterate unlimited down the road if they wanted, I mean VZW and AT&T have made it undesirable to stay on unlimited but they've at least let people be grandfathered in.
  11. And no one knows how much longer they will stick around. These plans would be fine if it wasn't for the lowered roaming data, the modified discount structure, and throttling. Even if the Everything plans stick around no one can tell how long before they will be killed off. After that time many may not even be able to stay grandfathered in with the changes to the T&C.
  12. I can't believe I forgot about that, I've seen it before so I don't know why it didn't cross my mind.
  13. Dan Hesse talked specifically about throttling in the "Truly Unlimited" commercials, I'm simply pointing out it's no longer so. I didn't say there were no longer any other plan options.
  14. Huh, then maybe the number they currently show on the site is without roaming.
  15. And as a result we can no longer be considered "Truly Unlimited."
  16. I'm talking about users coming from Cellular 850 networks though.
  17. I think the rude awakening will more likely be from the degraded in-building and network performance.
  18. Them apparently not, if that's the case I wonder what specific areas Sprint customers are barred from VZW roaming in. I wonder if it could be VZW affiliate markets.
  19. I think you can roam on VZW anywhere you don't have Sprint coverage, and there isn't a higher prioritized roaming partner.
  20. I'd bet, they used to advertise 230 million covered on the Sprint network and 280 with roaming.
  21. Now this very well could have more to do with the shut down of Nextel but I thought this new addition to the Sprint T&C was interesting given the new plans, and the problems old SERO plans have raised in the past. "We may change any part of the Agreement at any time, including, but not limited to, rates, charges, how we calculate charges, discounts, coverage, technologies used to provide services, or your terms of Service. If you lose your eligibility for a particular rate plan or if a particular rate plan is no longer supported or available, we may change your rate plan to one for which you qualify. We will provide you notice of material changes—and we may provide you notice of non-material changes—in a manner consistent with this Agreement (see "Providing Notice To Each Other Under The Agreement" section). If a change we make to the Agreement is material and has a material adverse effect on Services under your Term Commitment, you may terminate each line of Service materially adversely affected without incurring an Early Termination Fee only if: (a) call us within 30 days after the effective date of the change; ( you specifically advise us that you wish to cancel Services because of a material change to the Agreement that we have made; and © we fail to negate the change after you notify us of your objection to it. If you do not notify us and cancel Service within 30 days of the change, an Early Termination Fee will apply if you terminate Services before the end of any applicable Term Commitment." Doesn't this essentially give them the right to kick Everything Data customers off their plans at anytime they feel like it in the future by calling it unsupported? This was the old T&C "We may change any part of the Agreement at any time, including, but not limited to, rates, charges, how we calculate charges, discounts, coverage, technologies used to provide services, or your terms of Service. We will provide you notice of material changes—and we may provide you notice of non-material changes—in a manner consistent with this Agreement (see "Providing Notice To Each Other Under The Agreement" section). If a change we make to the Agreement is material and has a material adverse effect on Services under your Term Commitment, you may terminate each line of Service materially affected without incurring an Early Termination Fee only if you: (a) call us within 30 days after the effective date of the change; and ( specifically advise us that you wish to cancel Services because of a material change to the Agreement that we have made. 22. "He uhh... He took the red one."

  23. "Wow, you really are from Europe."
