Finally, its done! Good luck you guys! The Sprint site suddenly became fast for me and I acted quickly and got it ordered. If other things aren't working you guys might give the sprint site another try.

love this tweet "I've never tried so hard in my life to pay $800 #iPhone6 " I'm so close to giving up on this but I've been awake for two hours now, I may not be able to go back to sleep. Edit: Sprint's site has sprung to life! and now i'm finishing my order!

Now getting 503 error (Sprint site). Did the server get DOS'd? edit: site back up but every other refresh fails and no store yet I ordered a VZW model 3 minutes early without a hitch, I wonder what's going on with Apple and Sprint?

Is this really a ramping up of deployment in urban areas (faster time to market) or actually a scaling back of rural deployment (maintain the current pace in urban areas but cancel exurban and rural deployment plans)? That is the real question. I hope we really see an acceleration.

I'm planning to get mine off-contract so it will be expensive but I feel like it's worth it. I'm also struggling with which phone to get, I think the iPhone 6 is just about my favorite size (nearly identical to my HTC One M7) but I don't get the battery life, pixel density or optical image stabilization of the iPhone 6 plus.

Sprint to join Rural Operators Roaming Hub (CCA and RRPP thread)
lynyrd65 replied to marioc21's topic in General Topics
With VoLTE coming in early 2015, I imagine that's the long term solution. Until then they could always use the incumbent CDMA partner for voice then the CCA partner for data. (For example, Verizon CDMA voice with Comnet LTE). -
It does cover band 25. I bought one of these when they first came out. They are very marginally effective (at least for mine).

My local store has one reserved for me and I get first pick.

If I recall, a certain other US carrier hasn't exactly been massively profitable either...... T-Mobile turned a profit in Q2 (a very small one) and turned an even smaller loss in Q1. As of right now, they still have a very small net profit this year. More or less they are breaking even. Sprint is in nearly the same boat with very small profits for Q1 and Q2.

I've roamed on Cricket and US Cellular in Tulsa. I've roamed onto Nextech in Kansas and Colorado. While in Idaho I've roamed on Inland Cellular. On T-Mobile I've roamed onto Union Wireless, Viaero, CellularOne (Comnet and Chinook), Chinook (it actually said Chinook), and for what little they allow AT&T. Most of this roaming was HSPA but I imagine it was seriously throttled.

Let's get serious about this proposed US Cellular buyout.

When the camera protrudes like it does you're going to use a case anyway. I don't get the hate surrounding the plastic antenna lines.

Sprint to enforce roaming data limits, send SMS notifications
lynyrd65 replied to Rocket87's topic in General Topics
I wish there were no roaming limits and it was at least EV-DO speed. With CCA Roaming I hoped that roaming limits would be relaxed. This appears to show the opposite may be occuring. Roaming anxiety is one reason I have a hard time returning to Sprint. -
Century Link is just universally the worst it seems.
