That might happen. But won't dish require a lot of band 41?If Dish gets the sites wouldn't they have to just remove 2.5 and 1900? Then let Dish worry about the rest.

Well I hope it does grow the coverage. So basically the entirety of both networks is getting a coverage and capacity audit?

It is a political circus because some people are using it to further their political aims. See, I stood up toe to toe to those big, bad corporations when the feds folded. It is also said that the DOJ anti-trust chief, Makan Delrahim might be playing the political game.
Yes I agree with you. It’s all political game. For me the concern is that they won’t follow through with their promises.

The chief makan will , but tmo will look for a settlement prior or the judge to throw out the lawsuit

As I said earlier it’s all a circus LOL. I want to see what this merger holds for all of us.

I think this week when TMO meets with the state AGs in front of the judge.I think they will file to dismiss the lawsuit, based on them reaching the settlement with the DOJ and that settlement should be in compliance with what the state AGs argued about.

I have a feeling they will throw out the lawsuit. In my opinion it’s too little too late for this litigation.

I think in terms of future plans at this moment, with FCC details undecided (approval is already a given based on commissioners comments) but likely almost hammered out, it boils down to the odds with the state suits. The higher the odds of success the less you are going to push. If something is almost complete, such as almost nationwide VoLTE you likely would go for it. Same with 5g announced markets. Maybe even some markets with lots of Massive MIMO sites already installed if things drag on. Anything that might damage your credit in the short term is a no go. Thus don't expect changes in backhaul.
Pride and future job prospects may also play a role -- what can you finish up to help with your resume?
Another factor fulfilling and loan requirements - thus some installations could be rushed to completion, likely with poorer quality. More new equipment may sit idle. A lot of items may fall to T-Mobile to complete to keep the Sprint network operational during the transition period. Example: Shentel-nTelos merger. Shentel finished activating LTE at many sites and then replaced them with their own new equipment many months later.
There is fun times ahead. I may come back at some point in the near future when all this interesting mess is sorted out and taken care of .

The "strike price" is the price at which you can execute the option contract and actually buy the shares.
Simple example. you buy an option contract to buy 100 shares @ $10 per share. The "strike price" is $10. Once the stock price reaches $10 per share you could exercise the option and purchase the underlying shares. Then keep the shares or turn around and sell them.
How much is one share of Sprint?

The money trail will flow, no worries. Lol
If I got the pixel three XL and activated it on T-Mobile would that give me access to all the TMobile‘s LTE bands
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
As of now yeah. The trail could go all the way to December

So the injunction to stop the merger approval?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I just looked at the 2019 first-half awards and scores. It appears that Sprint is faring quite well in NYC relative to some other markets; Sprint's performance (by their metrics) is pretty shabby in some other areas of the country.
Yea well there merger is practically complete they just have to deal with the litigations in court with the states suing them

Yep I saw that.
Isn’t band 41 nation wide ?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I wouldn't disagree with that entirely, the best business decision wouldn't be to use the Sprint name. I'm just wondering if under this deal they actually have the rights to do so.
In my opinion sprints brand has to be retired there to tarnished due to all the issues they’ve had and the negative public opinion of their brand

Here's my question. The Dish press release says Dish will:
"Acquire Sprint's prepaid businesses and customers, including Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile and the Sprint-branded prepaid service."
I'm wondering if they have any rights to/will acquire the Sprint name as a part of this? To possibly still see a Sprint branded prepaid service?
The sprint brand is to tarnished to keep alive. My theory is that they will call at dish mobile

I can understand that in a way. Not sure why you've always taken such an interest in Sprint/T Mobile if that is in fact your plan?
Verizon is very strong in your area. It was the NYNEX (AT&T BabyBell, serving New England and New York) and Bell Atlantic serving New Jersey... together they formed Verizon. They own most of the circuits and underground telephone hardware in those areas. Now you can understand why Verizon is so "good" in your neck of the country.
I was just watching with interestBecause I’m worried that they won’t at least let my phone and use the new frequencies. I know my phones not band 71 capable. But I would be interested in sticking around to see what happens.

Me too! I'm thrilled they didn't... They have a very nice Spectrum portfolio now. I trust T Mobile will use it quickly and effectively, unlike what we have been use to with Sprint. This is truly a breath of fresh air! I have a Samsung S9+ ... all it needs is T mobile's blessing to unlock all those frequency/channels...
I’m actually on boost mobile. I’m jumping ship though to Verizon.

Only Band 26 got divested or rather sold.
And what about dishes spectrum holdings? They don’t have nationwide low band do they?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
That is a minimum number of sites. I think T-Mobile has been working behind the scenes getting ready for the merger and have already identified the Sprint sites they need. Every other site will be available over the course of 3 years.
Also what spectrum is TMobile required to divest
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Dearborn / Detroit border - Sprint's 1900 mHz is carrying most of the load here, especially for data. It's bad. Very over crowed.
TMobile could use the extra capacity in my area.

So I’m guessing Robert will be rebranding the site soon. [emoji2]
Yeah that always crossed my mind. I mean he could rebrand it to T4 GRU
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I'm trying to find one also... No luck so far.
And might be a private thing
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
It's about freaking time! I can't wait for the details! Will they officially close the merger on Monday the 29th?
So we finally know if the merger is approved or not?

Announcement should be tomorrow.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-sprint-corp-m-a-t-mobile-us-doj-idUSKCN1UL07T?utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+Trending+Content&utm_content=5d3a788e595b5a0001c31bb1&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=twitter(Reuters) - U.S. Justice Department said Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim of the department’s Antitrust Division will announce a significant merger enforcement action on Friday.
The justice department is set to announce that it is approving the merger of Sprint Corp (S.N) and T-Mobile US Inc (TMUS.O) at a press event on Friday, sources briefed on the matter told Reuters.
So it’s pretty much a given that the merger is approved?

T-Mobile is trying to control the PR, earnings were released today with a EPS of $1.09 which beat the estimated $0.97 T-Mobile still making moves. One of the best quarterly results to date for $TMUS, the conference call will more than likely include the announcement of the Sprint/T-Mobile merger. I suspect we will get some news before the open of the trading day tomorrow.
Let’s just see what happens. If something interesting happens I’ll cook a bag of popcorn in the microwave and have some popcorn and watch the feed blow up LOL
