What market are you in?TMobile is good here in Beaufort. I couldn't get a signal in my house on Sprint but I am consistently getting good speed on TMobile.

So I don't believe in anything anyone or any company says ...I m a believe it when I see it type of guy.
You got that right. I’m just can’t wait to see the promos that the carriers are going to have to try and suck in Sprint customers and what T-Mobiles plan will be to retain Sprint customers.

Who knows only time will tell.Once the two networks are combined, will it honestly be competitive with the big two? Especially in areas where both Sprint and T-Mobile struggle or have no coverage?

Okay I can understand now. Also how's T-Mobile coverage in your area?Like WiMAX, it was the right and available technology at the time of launch. New Radio offers a bit more capacity and will be widely available sooner than a lot of folks expected, while dynamic spectrum sharing is something that about 2 of many vendors have a product for, or will soon so this is what we end up with. Throw in the clearance schedule for digital dividend spectrum and you have a lot of rules, vectors and variables.

I mean I understand that idea now. But they were touting the 600 megahertz as a new form of LTE in terms of coverage. They shouldn't be bragging about it if it's only a 5 megahertz chunk deployment. Because for my area only it's a 10 megahertz slice of band 71. Why even bother putting it to LTE if it's only 5 megahertz?Pretty sure the idea is to preserve maximum bandwidth for the New Radio launch.

It doesn't make sense for me why T-Mobile only has it deployed in certain areas in 5 megahertz slots.
Band 71 @5MHz aggregated with band 2 @10MHz, these are the only channels available on this site. Interstate 95 N of Florence SC.
I don't know why everyone keeps spreading misinformation about these bands not aggregating, just like certain roaming bands being restricted, this is untrue. Y'all should stop.

I'll be honest it's great to have 5G. But with the coverage issues that are being experienced I don't think I will be interested in it anytime soon. I will obviously acknowledge that having it being used for fix Internet is an excellent idea. But for mobile usage oh yeah they're going to need a lot more low-band spectrum in order to promote it for used while you're on the road. They are planning for 5G Nationwide using B71 as the equipment is already 5G ready and, they can flip a switch. Plus need devices.

From my area it's 20 x 20 band 4 and band 66. 5 megahertz a band 12 and 10 megahertz a band 71 only deployed on a 5 megahertz junk. It makes no sense when the deployment of the next generation Network technology is months or years away. Not so lucky now that it's 5x5. In my area TMO is 20x20 B4, 15x15 B2,5x5 12 and 71. Id rather see 15x15 B71

You're lucky. Over here it's only five by five band 71 and band 12. so I don't particularly see having a band 71 capable phone as completely useful at this point. My area had 10x10 B71 but not they trimmed it to 5x5 to use the rest for 5x5. It's only 20x20 areas that will stay 10x10 B71

Yeah and I'll be honest I'm not very concerned about bands 71 because over here bands 2 4 and 12 do a pretty good job of providing coverage. obviously they're great density is a little bit better than even 2 years ago but still I don't see band band 71 as being particularly useful where I live because they only deployed a 5 megahertz chunk so I've reverted from a band 71 capable phone down to a band 12 capable device. That's good to know.

T-Mobile is filling in coverage holes where they can. Over here they're doing coverage expansion terms of filling in coverage gaps which is a good thingI wonder if TMO will even deploy B71 on LTE in NYC, they only bought 10x10 and plan on Nationwide 10x10 for 5G.

Then I have made my choice I will get the Galaxy s9. I appreciate the help.Yeah. It's supports 256 qam 64 up. 3-5 times CA. My works great. Don't have have the money for a new phone. Only thing with the unlocked model and Sprint is that 25+41 isn't supported where the Sprint model might be. Not sure how it works with the S10 Sprint vs unlocked. For att the S9 doesn't aggregated with B14.

AT&T is so archaic it's not even funny. Sprint in my opinion with their unlock phone policy is better than them. But I'm in the market for a phone would you still recommend the Galaxy s9 even in 2019?Yeah I might just go back to vzws Visible. Unlimited everything 40 bucks a month taxes and fees included and both wifi calling and VOLTE. No issues.

With AT&T I have voice over LTE access but not Wi-Fi calling on my OnePlus 7 pro. And I heard that with even the pixel four phones AT&T doesn't even support Wi-Fi calling or volte. att needs to get with the game. Sprint supports it so why not AT&T?Yep. Same here. On T-Mobile,vzw and Sprint I had WiFi calling and VOLTE on T-Mobile and vzw on my unlocked S9+

If you're talking about AT&T. I have a 1 + 7 pro on AT&T and I get voice over LTE access. As far as I know they still don't allow unlocked phones to use VoLTE among other things. My mom's factory unlocked S9+ can't use VoLTE, Wifi calling, or advanced messaging.

Well I hope something can replace them. Because I never pay up to see stuff like that if it can be offered for free. They were purchased by Mosaik a while ago. Ever since then, they've been on a steady decline.
I think the only reason Mosaik bought them was to eliminate what they thought was a competitor offering data for free.

what happened ? why did they close down?

Hm that's interesting. As far as I know the roaming limits are the same.

Is it going to be limited like it was with Verizon? Like I mean in terms of a data cap. They have a plan. It's called AT&T roaming.
Sent from my GM1917 using Tapatalk

Well the fact that it's being slowly shut down Sprint better come up with a contingency plan and order to supplement the Lost coverage from the slow-but-steady shut down.Verizon isn't shutting down CDMA until 12/31/20 now.
