  1. According to sprint.com/network, all the tower upgrades (except nv work) have been completed. Really hope all these data disconects are nv related.
  2. Does nv work happen on towers at night time? I was running speed test's in my apartment at midnight last night. One test I was getting 2.5 meg down with full bars, the next test would not even connect to 3g, down to only one bar, and couldnt get a 3g connection for 30 minutes. My friend accross town also had the same issues on the tower he connects to at home, at night. Otherwise I have no issues during day time. I know the switch from legacy equipment to nv equipment in Chicago had connection issues, thats why I ask.
  3. I was using the mlb tv last season from my seats when I was a 10 pack ticket holder. I was still useing the og evo 4g, and had great wimax speeds at my seats and had no proublem streaming the live games on my phone.
  4. Mlb tv allows subscribers the abillity to watch out of market games from their mobile devices. Hence the reason why lte at miller park would be useful.
  5. I would love having lte available the next time I visit Miller Park. It would be nice streaming MLB tv over lte while enjoying a Brewers game.
  6. I hope you get to experience NV as a whole very soon. Let unlimited lte data on Sprint be enjoyed by all!!
  7. I'm not ganging up on you by any means. I love wireless and Sprint, and love coming to this site. Coming here is kind of an escape from the outside world. It's just irritating hearing the same bad news on every single corner of the internet. However, as Robert states, This is a general thread so i retract my original comment.
  8. They may dissconect the 4g core (ehrpd) and re-connect the old 3g (rev-a) legacy hardware so they can work on the NV equipment? I'm no expert by any means, but thats the only thing that would make sence to me. I could be and prolly am wrong regarding that statment, but it seems like they are working on that tower none the less.
  9. With completed NV surrounding you (so close but yet so far away) you must be getting anxious......Atleast you enjoy better signal strength!! I long for both signal and faster data. I know it will come very soon for me!!!
  10. Thank for all the good info. I'm south central Wisconsin actually but it's prolly the same thing in terms of transmiting location. Tommy, your prolly in a completed nv market? is signal strength improved and over all preformence?
  11. Your I.P address is in correspondence to which cell tower your connected too. It's kind of like your homes address. example, if you live on 1888 Main st and you walk next store neighbors house on 1889 main st, it's like switching towers. One tower I.P address could be connection to rev-a and the other ehrpd. based on what I know that wouldnt make much sence though.
  12. I dont get understand why people post these kind of events on this site? I'ts being reported all over yahoo, msn, ect.
  13. Yep...... It's been over a month since you have posted this speed test and even after all the supposedly "network improvments" in the area, these are about the same type of speeds I'm getting on or around the beltline, and around Middleton. Funny thing is, I'm pulling in anywhere from .500kbps to 2.00 kbps In my Middleton appartment. Go figure, the fastest speeds I'm pulling are usless too me as I'm connected to wifi at home. I wish I knew which tower I get my connection from so I can scout out my home tower for nv work? I live right by Bishops Bay in Middleton. I can see a tower located in a park on a water tower but I dont think it's a Sprint tower, as I dont get full bars when I'm close to it
  14. I drove past that tower yesterday. I didn't see any activity or new equipment, I did see a few pieces of heavy machinery sitting idol however.
  15. That's great news! I was just thinking this thread has been quiet for the past week or so. Seems like the quiet before the storm that is LTE goodness. Glad Milwaukee is moving forward, just hope Madison isn't too far behind.
  16. Are you referring too the tower behind the Rocky rococo?
  17. Cool, thanks for the update. Your a good guy for answering all of our questions ect.
  18. Are you saying backhaul or whatever kind of work to the madison/milwaukee sites have most likely started?
  19. How do you know this? When will Milwaukee/Madison be on the radar?
  20. I'll take some pictures of the tower as soon as I get the chance to get out there.
