  1. That streach of purple on Stoughton rd would be to far from the McFarland to get a signal. Even if it did, I wouldn't be able to get full bars like I do when driving on that road.
  2. I was at Stoughton rd twice this week and didn't get LTE signal at all. I even sat at the pdq at Stoughton rd Today and tried airplane mode, ect, with no luck. I understand nv/lte in this area are still in its testing phase and connection isn't guaranteed.
  3. I'm gonna be in that area tomorrow. I'll surley park at farm and fleet, so I can see what happens. I hope my EVO will play nice while trying to connect.
  4. Pretty sure he was talking about Madison. There is LTE on the same road where the farm and fleet is located. Sensorly.com shows a faint purple streak (which represents LTE on the map) on the south east side of Madison, by the farm and fleet.
  5. Anyone in the Madison area plan on driving around town this weekend mapping out more LTE goodness? I hope more sites come online in the coming days/weeks.
  6. I will notice the signal bars will always fluctuate drastically, even while sitting in one spot. Just thought i was the network
  7. Know of any stock program that will force the evo into discovery mode?
  8. The photon 4g is connected to wimax data. Wimax is Sprint's original 4g network and is only available on certain wimax capable phones. Your iphone does not have wimax capability's due to Sprint decision to stop building out the Wimax network in favor of useing LTE as the preferred 4g data service. Milwaukee and other cities have un-finished wimax network build out's, which are only available in small area's of certain cities. At some point, Wimax will not be operational for sprint customers whom already own a wimax phone. Also, Sprint no longer sells Wimax phones at thier retail or 3rd party stores (radio shack, Best buy, ect) Amazon and Ebay still sells Wimax phones. but with the rapid deployment of LTE, it would be pointless and waste your money buying one, unless you need one for a broken phone replacement to tide you over until you can use an upgrade for an LTE phone.
  9. Maybe there would be a truckers shower room too. I hear the showers get the best reception! Lol
  10. Exactly. Hence the reason I was running LTE discovery app. The app puts my phone into airplane mode which is supposed to help. Oh well, no biggie.
  11. I just drove the entire lenghth of Stoughton road running sensorly and LTE discovery mode and I didn't get an LTE signal at all. Maybe they shut it off to do more work on it?
  12. YES....YES.... I feel the power in my hands. Now go out there and collect more data my minions.....lol Seriously though, I plan on running errands all over Madison tomorrow. Its gonna be interesting what results I find. Ill be running sensorly during my entire trip.
  13. I see it!! I had too zoom in close in order to see the purple streak right there on hwy 51 by babcat park! you just marked the first Sprint LTE signal in Dane county. Congrats and good job!!
  14. May the shots fire upon my city! Mad town baby!! lol
  15. Good to know. I have the 'lte discovery' android app on my phone also. Not sure it works? as I've not been in a Sprint lte coverage area as of yet.
  16. ##33284# on your dial pad, select lte engineering. That puts you phone into lte search mode. I believe my statement correct?
  17. I thought they were starting 800 next year? Not like Sprint offers any 800 compatable phones at this time anyway.
  18. Prolly Johnson creek or Watertown if I were to guess?
  19. I'm connected to the water tower by the family video. I was getting up to 2.5 down and almost 1.0 up last night on a consistend basis. 3g kept disconnecting last night, but every time it came back up, I'd get crazy speed burst's according to speed test.
  20. If I wernt between jops I would do the sponsor thing so I can look at the map I'm pretty confidant My Middleton tower will be one of the firs 4g sites online, as my 3g speeds have been crazy fast as of late!!
  21. Quick.....everybody run sensorly test as you go travel around your respective cities.
  22. Do we just put up with it? Yes, Pretty much. Sprint is best in terms of price for a national company. Personally, I really do think Sprint hates the Milwaukee market for whatever reason? obviously I'm not complaining because I've had sprint since 2007 and could go elsewhere but dont. Thats just my opinion. People in this market have very negitive views of sprint due to all the delays in service improvements (never getting wimax and pushing back of LTE), bad indoor coverage, awful data speeds, ect. Once again I'm not complaining, works just fine for me.
