I guess it makes them feel like the money they spent on the phone is worth it. I've had both metal and plastic. Honestly I care more about if the phone works good, looks I could care less about to a point. My old Droid X2 was a beast, never had a case and didn't have a scratch or Crack after 2 years of use. My M7 was a but less durable, few scratches and a hairline Crack across the screen at the top.

The M8 takes great pictures, like you said the only way you get into trouble is zooming in. When I went and bout tires for my MX-5 I took a picture of them to send to my dad, then when I had to get his tires for his truck I took a picture with my S5 at the time. And to be honest the M8 looked more sharp, but when needing to take a picture and zoom it on it the S5 wins every time, other than that the M8 wins imo.

It's pretty much the same as the M8, only plastic and has a higher Mp camera. Only thing I can think of as far as the adoption of this phone is that everyone had already( who wants htc phones) has bought a M8 and dose not see spending money to buy a phone that's just like the one they have. Just my opinion, I loved my M8 and if the E8 was out at the time I may have reconsidered witch I would have gotten. I would recommend this to someone looking for a good phone though.

Yeah, I don't hate Samsung. Just to make that clear, they have good phones. I love Motorola though, and if the rumors are correct the Nexus X will be sweet. My only problem is will Otterbox make a Defender for it? I need a rugged case where I work.

I'm still holding judgment right now, kinda want to see the Nexus X. I miss my S Pen but don't care too much for TouchWiz. Hmm, too many decisions to make.

Well now I'm between the Note 4, and the rumored Nexus X. I miss the S Pen but don't like TouchWiz at all. It's fine for a few moths then it starts to annoy me.

Same thing happened to me when I got my M8, voice worked fine but data would drop bad then voice and data would drop, ended up having a replacement phone even though I told them it was a Sim card issue. Glad it's fixed for you though.

That's odd, sounds like a app or some setting. Was a guess though, I can't think of anything that could do that.

Dose it turn on when you get a text? If I remember my G2 would do that, not sure on a G3 though. Still haven't gotten me one yet...

I usually stay parked on B26 at my house and work, I have a weak or no b25 signal. Unless I'm in a more b25 prevalent area I stay on that. Wish I could change my priority though.

My 32gb SD card failed the day before I got my 64gb card. Luckily my card was under warranty so I got a new one, now it's in my tablet.

Just read that the latest YouTube update slows G3 to play 1440p videos, sweet.

Well yet to get me a G3, but one small question. I was watching a review the other day( like 2 or 3 am) and if I remember correctly he showed a way to change or reassign the rear buttons( volume up and down) to different apps. I loved my G2 to hold volume down to open the camera quickly. Just wondering if you you switch the volume up to a flashlight all, ie Tesla or similar, so with the screen off and in my pocket all I have go do is pill the phone out and hold volume up and I have a flashlight. Thanks, probably just me seeing things when I was sleepy haha.

I have some random y looking one I got from sprint when I bought my Note 2, it's a USB 2.0 but playing Pandora it charges it pretty good. It has, what looks like, tylt on it. Hope this helps haha

No G3 yet :/ oh well I can wait..... I guess haha. Got a Defender for it today though at a sale. $30 bucks not bad, now I just have to get the phone to replace this S5 haha.

I've been tempted to get a Zerolemon for my S5 but rather get a G3 then a Zerolemon once they come out with the ZeroShock case. I can deal with the size of it.

I have a S5 now and it's been pretty good, it's just something about TouchWiz I can't put my finger on that don't work for me in a sense. I loved my G2, I know one thing I'll love on the G3 when I get it. The ability to have a Zerolemon battery haha, had one one my Note 2 and loved it so much. My upgrade is I'm Oct so I can get the Note 4 if I wanted to, but for now I'm still trying to get a G3.

Don't know if I should get a G3 or wait and get a Note 4...... just don't care for Samsung TouchWiz stuff anymore. Only problem with the G3 for me, I hope Zerolemon gets the case right with the rear buttons to work and I'll be happy.

We all have those moments haha, at least Is was not your phone having a issue. When I got my M8 the radio wouldn't work for no longer than 3 seconds, had to get another one and loved it.

Didn't think of that one, I'm using weather bug for the radar and it works flawlessly. I'll have to test the wyff4 app one day.

Not bad, I average 15 plus with over 2 and half to three hours SoT. All on cell signal no wifi, auto brightness and GPS setting to high accuracy.

Sweet, I know I'll get the defender for it. If it is a rf beast like I've been reading I'll love it more than my current phone, unless the battery is not as good.

I've read a few post were people say If you hold the phone a certain way it reduces the signal, would a defender help that per say? Still trying to get me a G3 to replace my current phone.
