  1. that they do, I was doing the three SSS's, Signalcheck Pro, Speedtest, and Sensorly. Everytime the signal would decline, it would drop to 3G then reacquire another tower and BOOM - LTE again.
  2. had to drive over to Bithlo this morning, talk about an LTE hotzone! I was running tests and getting between 10-20mbps down all the way until I got back up on Alafaya - then it went back to solid 3G.
  3. and I most likely would donate if I could, but as of right now I am a broke college student with a crappy office job. If I had extra money, I'd donate but money is tight right now.
  4. These are all the towers, specific for Sprint that I managed to pull. This is according to towers getting upgrades as well as iDEN sites, or rather former iDEN sites now.
  5. This is the tower setup for my area of Winter Park, and part of Orange County, using the new version of Google Maps (which I can't wait for the new update for Android!!) Dots in red are exact tower locations, five roughly within a mile and a half or less.
  6. I know how ya feel man, I'm waiting for all the towers in my area to go live as they are all within a mile or less of my home and or my office. I know my neighborhood will be covered as I was able to get LTE from a tower over 1.5 miles away and still managed to get a consistent download speed of 10mbps. The market is getting closer to launching, we're at 29% complete for LTE sites, and 41% for NV. I'd say August or September at best.
  7. the only antennas it shows as being on that tower (W. Plaza Dr I believe is the location of the tower you are referring to), are with Clearwire but according to Sprint's Network upgrade map, that tower is not showing up as receiving any upgrades. There is however a tower somewhere down by what looks like the corner of Libra and Gemini Blvd that is supposed to be receiving both a voice and data capacity upgrade.
  8. Sprint tower behind my city's police station that was upgraded sometime in the last month or so. LTE panels and Ericsson RRU's down at the bottom,
  9. lower panels were added sometime within the last month or so, because they weren't there when I previously visited the site on May 10th.
  10. I ran a search on that particular road, no permits pulled unless they are doing it under orange county's radar. The address for the tower is 2000 Hillcrest St.
  11. judging by the height, I'd expect it to cover a fair distance. The tower closest to me is less than 1700ft away and is about as tall as the one on University - maybe a bit shorter. Second one being 1.5 miles away (Winter Park Towers) and I got LTE from that location when it was in testing (which has since ceased). The tower on University is only a mile from me. Now the tower by UCF, that one will probably cover quite a distance given how tall it is in relation to these.
  12. I've been waiting for them to touch that site, I drive by it everyday. Its supposed to be receiving two upgrades and there is a huge bird nest at the top. The tower itself is owned and maintained by Spectrasite Communications, and has licenses for Sprint, Nextel, and Clearwire antennas, so I would assume they are dismantling the Nextel equipment and possibly adding NV/LTE equipment
  13. I would be beyond happy if LTE were lit up on Monday, however I highly doubt that will be happening as Orlando still has quite a way to go on its rollout
  14. I have my phone switching between EVDO and EHRPD every few minutes or so. I have Signalcheck Pro but the area it says as the location for the BSL I'm quite certain is incorrect, as I pass by there everyday and there is nothing there but a plot of unused land.
