  1. Are you sure about that? You are a "user." And S4GRU is your "dealer." AJ
  2. This evokes a classic "Chappelle's Show" sketch. "How can T-Mobile rise up and overcome?" "Can T-Mobile???" "That is correct." AJ
  3. And I would say that over 25,000 tests conducted across greater than 1100 miles driven would be enough to invoke the Law of large numbers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_large_numbers The variance is interesting for standard deviation. But it should not affect the median or average. Run the same tests again next week, and I would expect notably similar results. AJ
  4. This RootMetrics bickering needs to stop. In the immortal words of that cracked out prophet... Think of the older people and the kids, please. AJ
  5. For whatever reason, the SIM/enabled band(s) issue seems specific to Motorola. From the Nexus 6 reports here, I have since inferred that enabling band 12 is probably what put my first 2014 Motorola X into a boot loop a few months ago. AJ
  6. Mmm, basil. With fresh mozzarella. Pizza Margherita. AJ
  7. Folks, if you have a Samsung Galaxy S6 in hand, posting about it is not "preview" discussion -- it is "user" discussion. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6909-samsung-galaxy-s6-user-thread/ AJ
  8. Hmm, I seem to recall someone suggested in a published article a month ago that the baseband easily could be the Qualcomm MDM9635, now known as the Snapdragon X7 LTE. AJ
  9. Any ideas? Yeah, call a locksmith. Or, better yet, stick to the ample device unlocking discussion already in The Forums. This thread soon will be locked -- no pun intended. AJ
  10. Possibly. But there you go again, maximus, using present popularity as a premise. By current sales, Bieber is a superior musician to Beethoven. That form of argumentation is de minimis. #FadsFadeOut AJ
  11. With T-Mobile, now here is nowhere. It is all about the future and how great Magenta is going to be -- once it gets low band spectrum. AJ
  12. Come drink the pink Kool-Aid, my children. Everyone else is doing it. That makes it right and good. AJ
  13. And what is your point? T-Mobile should be excused because it has no presently usable low band spectrum? No, that is T-Mobile's own fault. And T-Mobile has to compete against the others on in building coverage -- low band spectrum or not. AJ
  14. Possibly, band 4 LTE. But that is not what I would call VZW compatibility. AJ
  15. If both HTC and S4GRU are still going in 2022, and there is an HTC One M16, that will be quite a trip. AJ
  16. Discussion doesn't live here anymore. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6910-htc-one-m9-user-thread/ AJ
  17. My amazing powers of logical deduction say M16. Am I correct? AJ
  18. There are macro sites surrounding the Truman Sports Complex, but this site is somewhere in or on Kauffman Stadium. I cannot ever recall spotting the antennas, though. However, the site has been on our maps for years. AJ
  19. Blah blah blah. Irrelevant. Nice red herring. Under Legere, T-Mobile likes to dish shit. But can T-Mobile take its own shit and attitude? AJ
  20. T-Mobile in Indianapolis. #unannounced #unprepared #unconsumer AJ
  21. No, we would know. It would have been reported weeks or months ago. AJ
  22. Uh, some of you have been practically giddy that the band 4 W-CDMA shutdown has already occurred. How is that "before"? AJ
  23. Nice try, but you fail. The Sensation 4G is not yet four years old. But, more importantly, Sprint at least has had the cojones to announce years in advance the iDEN and WiMAX shutdowns. T-Mobile is doing the AWS-1 refarming without notice, and that is a chickenshit move to do to its subs. AJ
