This is the state of journalism at Forbes today, sponsored and/or analyst written articles. Wow.

We had dinner in Bellevue. Drove right past the TMO Campus near Factoria Mall.

And this is Tmo's home town.
"You ain't sending me to no Bellevue."

And this is Tmo's home town.
Nah. T-Mobile is east si-yee-duh.

Haha, I don't read arsyrn posts so I wouldn't know what he talks about.
He dreams of Sprint selling off its PCS 1900 MHz spectrum assets.

In fact, B25 has been getting additional channel widths in a number of markets across the country.
The eventual goal must be to use band 25 as the PCC -- because Sprint can do 10-15 MHz FDD in band 25 without CA in most major markets across the country. CA, though, will play a role, as FDD+TDD CA then will be needed to bring in band 41 as SCCs.

I wonder if with HPUE the importance of band 25 will diminish to sprint. Maybe, with enough execution on B41, B25 could be a bargaining chip if a merger was proposed.
Arysyn, is that you?

Speaking of the Cellular band, I'm surprised the FCC has allowed At&t to control 50 MHz of Cellular spectrum, 20 mhz of 700 spectrum, and now 30 MHz of 600 spectrum in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
That's 100 MHz of low band spectrum for At&t in their home market of Dallas! That's too much.
Thanks, W. Bush.

How? We all know low band travels farther.
Again, incorrect.

Accept 2.5 only travels 3 miles and 600 mhz will travel way farther
Nope. Incorrect.

The Pixel XL doesn't have a GSM/UMTS-only setting when a Sprint SIM is installed...
Just like countless other Android handsets, it does in the Testing.apk.

I'd like to see how incoming calls are handled. eCSFB from At&t LTE to 1x Verizon??? Or SRLTE that connects to LTE and pings 1x constantly?
No slotted mode device is pinging CDMA1X constantly. Wrong idea, wrong terminology.

May not but it sure seemed like it based on every Speedtest I did
Correlation does not equal causation.

LG G6 and iPhone 7+ Considerable difference with HPUE at the site where this was taken.
HPUE does not affect downlink speeds.

Also, let's not forget that if HPUE was on in idle mode, that it would be a massive battery cost.
If transmitting and depleting battery, then no longer idle.
AJ

With HPUE being an uplink enhancement, would any of our tools or apps even be able to measure the difference it makes? I thought all those tools we use like SCP, lte discovery, network signal guru etc all show downlink measurements.
LTE engineering screen. Properly functional TxP readout.

They typically submit a request to their technical staff with questions like this. I would've assumed you'd know that.
Oh, you mean the conversation that goes like this: "Um, let me go ask LaRhonda, she the manager on duty."

Well, im getting more b41 at home but still get b25/b26 on the back side of the house.
We'll wait and see if any software upgrades, g6 is a little bwtter and I'm hoping hpue isnt working bc i would be a little disappointed!
HPUE does not improve idle mode reception.
