Good to hear. Im near South High School and am a little out of range of the tower. Hopefully more Waukesha towers go live next week.
Is anyone going to State Fair today? Im wondering if that West Allis tower is close enough to get a signal. I guess i will find out tomorrow when i go.
You can pick it up on 94 right in front of State Fair so I'm guessing picking it up won't be a problem, at least until there are too many people there trying to use it.

So I see the Milwaukee area and a tower in racine is going, any one heard anything about a timeframe for at least the first tower in kenosha? We already have the 1x 800
You can become a sponsor and see the maps of towers that are complete and other info:
-
Based on my experience it takes a couple of days before you can LTE from it after approval.
Or in my case, a week or longer from the tower down the road from me.
Sometimes it is available immediately like the tower by Miller Park.

Nice! I see a blip on sensorly. That signal look a little too strong to be coming from the Miller Park tower.... There must be another one in testing near by!
There was another tower in that area added to the sites complete map this morning when I checked!

How much would a donation cost in order to access those forums?
I believe Robert is happy to accept any value donation, as long as the donation value is more than the cost of fees for accepting the PayPal transaction.

Are you sure this site has been upgraded to lte? or just NV equipment? Word on the street is not all NV sites have lte right away?
You should become a sponsor of the site, then you could see the sponsor maps that show that the site was 4G accepted.
-
I can say that the LTE I have seen in Milwaukee and Sheboygan is pretty fast. I also saw extremely fast LTE in Grand Rapids, MI: 19.54 Mbps down and 4.99 Mbps up. I'm hoping we will see these speeds everywhere once NV is complete.
-
Nice! How did you get the info that there's a new tower? Just wondering how I would go about finding this info for Green Bay and Appleton.
If you become a sponsor, you get access to the maps that show the completed sites.

Hmm. Looking at the map. West Bend and north of Port Washington maybe?
I'm pretty sure that 39/90 at 51 near Stoughton/Madison is at least one of those towers.
I know the one north of Port Washington is one of the new ones.

Looks like a Sensorly is showing a spot near Oneida on the map now. This is great to see. Hopefully this is one of many spots that will start to pop up soon.
I saw that too so that must mean the Oneida tower is broadcasting. There is also a new 3G/4G complete tower in Seymour as of yesterday or today.

Anyone around the Oneida or Shawano areas able to say if the new towers are broadcasting LTE yet?
-
Anybody noticed there area that has 800 lighting up after IDEN shutdown.
Noticed it on one tower so far in Two Rivers, WI. 800 was turned on less than a week after the shutdown.

North end of Sturgeon Bay and hwy 57 through Chilton are lit up with 4G.
Both of those have been up for a couple weeks.
-
Battery life has been amazing on my iPhone 5 on the East Side.
This is a screen shot of a friend getting LTE only in the middle of a lake up north, where before he didn't even get 3G service prior to 3 weeks ago.
Where up north is your friend?
-
Did a speed test from the lakefront last night...
12.37 Mb/s down5.12 Mb/s up
50 ms ping
I can't wait until this covers all of Milwaukee!
-
I'm not sure if you would consider the city big enough to add to your map but Sturgeon Bay, WI has LTE available. Two other towns south of there also have LTE available (Algoma and Kewaunee) but they are much smaller.

How do I become a sponsor?

Good thing our "Plans" will be grandfathered in
They might be for now but if you look at the leaked ad for the new plans, it says that the everything data plans do not have the "Sprint unlimited gurantee" which is a feature that Sprint says gurantees unlimited for the life of the line of service, meaning unlimited data on our curent plans may end at some point...
More complete picture than CNET at this link:

This whole week I've been getting 4G on and off on the lower East Side. Every time 4G does pop up, it has shotty speeds. Looks like a sign of testing
Where on the lower east side?
-
Aww. There's also an Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center out in New Berlin on National Ave. It's not as big though. Oh well, at least there's more progress going on. That's all I really care about.
I wish that was where it came online... thats pretty close to where I work.
-
Just had LTE for a second on cass and kilbourne, now it is back to 3G. Testing the tower maybe?
I would bet you briefly connected to the tower that is covering the lakefront.

So has anyone gone by the 4G completed tower around Estabrook Park in Milwaukee? ML17XC177. It's been marked 4g complete for a couple weeks now and I don't see anything on sensorly near it. It's a little too far out of my way for me to run over there and check it out. Just wondering if it's actually broadcasting or not.
I believe I saw someone comment that they could not connect to it.
-
Is there a maximum number of devices that can connect to a given tower at one time?
-
Is it still the case now ?
It's working for me today.

That's only because no one has mapped it. As you can see, you can pick up LTE on 94 which is on the other side of the park from the tower.
