AT&T has a supply of the One X that was shipped prior to the April cutoff date. Apparently they can sell any they had on hand prior to that date until this gets settled.

Btw, I still see the ability to pre-order the Evolte on Sprint's web site.

That's such an obvious function. I mean, if I see an e-mail address on my computer, it's an actionable link that I can click on and do something with (like open my e-mail program and send a message). This is ridiculous.

I thought the same thing, but then, I only pre-ordered because I was up for renewal and I hate my Echo. I general go for the best option at the time that fits my current needs, which was going to be the Galaxy Nexus, but with the EVOlte coming out so soon, I decided to give it a shot. Probably still worth the wait versus picking up the GNex tomorrow or something.

Could be that this has been going on for a while now and we are just now getting word because it is definitely impacting the release date now.

Well, I'm glad I talked my wife out of getting an iPhone. She opted for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Elite Super 4g Mega Phone (or something like that). I'm all for being able to protect your patents and intellectual property, until it interferes with my pre-ordered phone.

This sucks if it impacts the store release as well. I reserved mine via Best Buy.

Assuming they work non-stop, I'll wait until the next batch. You know, after they get some rest and their fingers stop bleeding. lol

I haven't seen any advertisements for the $40 credit via Google Wallet. I saw a link someone provided to Wirefly that mentioned a $10 credit for signing up for Google Wallet, but not the additional $40. I plan on using it anyway, but it would be nice to sign up immediately and get that $50 (total) credit.

Same thing happened with my brother's EVO. It has me considering Best Buy's Black Tie program.

I wonder if that Google Wallet credit is going to be universal. Too bad it isn't the full $50 credit they offered to the GNex purchases.

Everything I want this month has been pre-ordered. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas and this year, Best-Buy is Santa. By the end of next week I should have both my new phone, and Diablo 3, and my wife won't hear from me for a month (unless she texts me on the new phone).

Oh, see, I didn't know they made those. lol

I'm picturing a mini keyboard built into a phone case. Would be a little bulky though.

Maybe there is a market for an add on keyboard for some of you "I need a keyboard" folks. Maybe a mini bluetooth keypad or something?

I pre-ordered with Best Buy yesterday since I signed up with their $50 GC/Savings for upgrading a few months ago, so It's knocking $50 bucks off the price. I've never pre-ordered a phone before, but it was right at my upgrade date and I've been using a second hand Kyocera Echo since I dropped my HTC Hero in the toilet months ago. The upgrades over the One X ended up being the clincher. I'm not crazy about not being able to remove the battery, but no memory card slot would have been the deal breaker. Also, thanks for the update on the LTE coverage coming to Orlando in round two, complete with the map. That made a big difference as well. I live between Orlando and Daytona (both have Wi-Max) and do not get current Sprint 4G coverage, but it looks like I will be included in the LTE coverage, so that's a huge plus.
