So johnny can sing from the rooftops that tmo is the last to offer trully unlimted data (except if you peer 2 peer)?

after re-reading the link… not great at all. they are treating themselves like ATT or VZW, which is great BUT they don’t have the network for it, not even close! (at least in the states that I travel)

if its like TMO where it is divided up by the number of lines - example 3 users get 2GB each = LAME; if its 3 lines divided into 20GB plan, thats pretty cool! I agree 20GB per line thats as bad as unlimited (almost)

why would it be yearly upgrades? that is only offered with the unlimited plan on Framly —

but can it scale -- esp with the new unlocking law (not that you can use it on TMO or ATT...) interesting thought. I have a feeling it will be a mild disappointment.

I'd assume if its 6-6pm at each time zone, its not really that BIG of a change maybe? Where as if Sprint wanted to inform all people at once it would be time zone independent no?

I saw that they released one version back in 2013... but not sure if it was vapor or never brought state side. Personally no bezel looks awesome, but if you put a case around it. It makes it very difficult to reach the edge of the screen. Similarly to what ive found using an g2.

Agreed! I highly doubt Marcelo would do it, as it sort of admits defeat somewhat. BUT what if the hook to bring on new subscribers (and to keep current ones) is a simple reward system! Today we announce these new plans (what ever they may be), we know our network is still expanding and in areas not as fast as we would have liked. Once you signup for these new plans, which will only be offered till the start of the new year - you will be grandfathered onto them for 2 years. Or something like that??

Yeah... with the main financial news sites all reporting the same thing; sprint planning on announcing new price plans etc etc. If Sprint just calls it in (pun not okay maybe intended) with just lukewarm results, the press will have a field day. Not to mention the tweets from.... you know.

I doubt there is much markup on any device - from the carrier's POV anyway. At least I always thought the carrier just wanted the best devices in order to sell its network. Hence the new contractless plans. I might be very wrong too...

i think as of Aug 14th Sprint has ended its new longer 30 day test drive. Back to 14 days.
