if its true — it is much easier for Sprint to “budget” a single user than 10 family users, who might be a bunch of datahog friends who group up to save. I mean in fact its $5 more profitable than a maxed out Framily. in a day we will know.
Not 100% on topic...
I'd be curious as to when Dan knew he was being replaced. Seems odd he would talk to CNET a week before departure - saying how bad it could be to cut prices.
New family plan @ 20gb for $100 into perspective.

That's 500mb per line....
At this stage, I don't think Marcelo can talk about the plans on how to improve the network.
He has to deliver them, and the press will follow. Otherwise, isn't it the same song?
Which they are doing.... improvements are coming.
I might be wrong, but the individual plans havnt been announced yet. And my post was saying the current new family plans don't make financial sense for Sprint to offer unlimted. Just my opinion granted.
Well per the tweet from sprint yesterday, it seems unlimited is for individuals. Which from an accounting and profitable stand point makes more sense than a family share.
if I am able to switch to the new plans (see previous posts, thx again Rocket) the new plan over framily would cost me $3 more per month, and going from unlimited data to 24GB (and no yearly upgrade)... to me thats a good deal.
Agreed on both counts.... but I thought it showed that not just sprint is doing timed promotions - which is fine, especially since sprint puts an end date.
Too bad they didnt "copy" tmo with upgrade fee. Id be happier to pay $10 hmmm maybe $8lol to upgrade at 12 months and gave insurance.
But still not a bad deal...
You rock...hmm no pun intended!
Would you need the actual phones with you or just the boxes? Since I assume they hand the same devices back?
Many thanks.
By matches, I was referring to the access fees. Which I think was key, it really makes it easy to compare line item to line item. While really showing the prize at the end of the chart... data on the cheap.
