  1. It hasn’t hit my account yet, I can upgrade but it’s requiring me to either pay off the device to own it or the remaining of the 18 month lease. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Do you know when this offer for us first gen 5G users will start? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So now the question is, for those with older “5G” that gets this device offer will need to switch over to a T-Mobile plan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My takeaways from tbis 1. Columbus Ohio is now getting 5G 2. My V50 that I’ve had for almost 3 weeks will not have 5G access and will simply be a LTE device..not too late to return it.
  5. ThIs is the first I’ve heard of this second email going out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Odd change of events, my iPhone X seems to perform damn good on b25 in Columbus, OH. My V50 parks itself on B41 and is not as good. The download varies but the upload cannot even complete due to the configuration on the network. I personally don’t mind staying on b25 if I’m getting these kind of speeds. I reinstated the Sprint bands on my V50. I’ll just wait until whatever OTA gets pushed out to it to access T-Mobile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That would be a great idea. Instead of just saying no reverse roaming for T-Mobile customers, allow it only in strong Sprint markets and in areas/ towers where T-Mobile lacks but Sprint is better in that same location. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I agree especially if it's not a strong Sprint market. I think the decision to to have T-Mobile not roam on Sprint was done to ensure that they dont lose customers in the event tmo customers started to have a bad network experience if they happen to latch onto sprint. 9. Cap was removed in Columbus Ohio. After disabling the Sprint bands, I latched onto b66 and got 36 down and 20 up. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  10. Agreed. I just want them to expand coverage past tmobiles current footprint as well. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  11. I noticed that too. I just ordered the V50 the other day since it was down to $600. It has all the bands on T-Mobile but i doubt i'll be getting the low band 5G with it but will for sure see the mid band 5G on 2.5. Maybe the V50 is just phased out. I will say the data speeds are way better than what I get on my 11 Max Pro. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  12. I'd rather not see him at all. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  13. Within the Service Cell Info, I found the TAC labeled as Tracking Area Code. I kinda figured it might be the correct one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Mine is 45305 on mi iPhone. It’s under the Serving Cell Info Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Wow I cannot believe it, Sprint as we all know it is over. A end to a era. Looking back at it all, it was really a ride but a fun one at that in retrospect. We’ve definitely created a bond and community here. S4GRU was/still is one my favorite forums to be on. Even though we all will be under a new brand and stuff. I hope that this forum as we know it will not go away. I thank Sprint for the highs and lows but more so everyone who has participated on here for the past few years! 16. I thought about today as being the final day. I was going to grab the LgV50 while it’s on sale for $600 but when I think about it, how well will that device transition into T-Mobile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. When is the last day we can order through sprint if anyone happens to know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I think for all us who have been long time Sprint subs that there is a little fear with the network integration and not wanting to relive the network vision era. On the other side of this is the excitement of what kinda of coverage and speed this will finally bring us. As it stands, T-Mobile has made good on their promises and failure to combine the networks properly is not an option. They’d be highly scrutinized like no other. I think all will be fine. I would say 6 months from the official close will give a good enough idea of what to expect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I would like to assume everyone but I could really see very aggressive offers for those who are no longer in a device IB or lease. I could also see the big two get in on it with promos as well to pluck Sprint customers as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’m think I’m going to just sign back up today. When thinking about it, T-Mobile kinda had no choice but to keep Saw since he’s very knowledgeable of 2.5 and how to make the most use of it. I’m sure he had major plans to make that spectrum a beast with Sprint but was restricted besides doing the minimum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That’s very true. I would like to think that things on the network side are already in place to flip the switch on 4/16. I don’t want a network vision adjacent experience in my city. I closed out my sprint account last month and I’m considering signing back up and nabbing their Premium plan since I can get it for $66 per month (byod discount of $10 and $10 if I add my employer). It’ll be nice side plan to have for the cheap based on what all is included and like can keep the plan for 3 years. I’m sure the amazon perk will leave which I’m ok with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Overall they have a TON of spectrum at their disposal. I just want great execution going forward. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Son clearly didn’t study the US market before buying up Sprint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Plus they’d need a whole revamp of the brand from the ground up. What truly sets Sprint apart from its peers? Is seems like they are lost in identity. I don’t think they are a value brand no more. Comparing the cost of my Sprint line and my Verizon line, the diff is $0. Sprint did cost more with that god awful account spending limit that needs to go away. I wonder why they haven’t? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I agree but sadly they had no intention on fully owning Sprint but grabbed the low hanging fruit, prep it up and sell it off. The Apple of their eye was T-Mobile from the start. Sprint is easily forgotten they’re either the #4 carrier or just not mentioned at all and it’s sad that Sprint has gotten to this point. What is needed is a CEO/Owner who is serious about righting the wrongs and making Sprint a serious competitor besides on price. I don’t want the merger to go through in some aspects but truth of it is that Sprint will struggle with the people who are running the show. We are at the point now where we are seeing Sprints true with asset wise but will never see it fully blossom under the Sprint brand due to bad choices, CEOs and past mergers(nextel, not executed well) and full network upgrades (good old network vision——what a time) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
