  1. John is going to pull a RHOA group trip out of country and get a argument started at the dinner table about their networks. He’ll call out Verizon and they’ll go back and force and then Verizon will walk off in true Nene fashion. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Wow I never knew that the Evo 4G was the spark for the creation on S4GRU. I thank you for not going to Verizon! I’ve had sooo many memories of this site. I still have my Evo 4G that I got in college. Over the years I did switch away from Sprint a few times to see if the grass was greener being that Sprint has been the only carrier I’ve had since being on my parents plan in high school. The other carriers (Verizon and att) did have better service at times but for me the price just wasn’t worth it to have service that was slightly faster. However, no matter what carrier I switched to, I kept my sprint account on the side just to keep up with things. As of yesterday I officially closed out the Verizon account after two years and ported my number back into sprint. I’m at the point where for the places I go, Sprint works just fine. Yes Verizon might be a little faster but it doesn’t justify the price. Hell I have the unlimited Premium plan for $65 per month (employee discount and Byod discount) thats a price you can’t beat with the amount of features you get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That’s fair. I’d switch plans if they offer full HD streaming and They somehow work Tidal into the mix. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I’ll more in likely take the Apple upgrade route this year as well. I just don’t see T-Mobile letting Sprint customers upgrade through them and letting you keep your plan. Plus if they keep their current down payment model, then they can keep that ish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So July 31st is the last day to do anything Sprint related to your account, plan changes, upgrades etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I just had a thought. For those with first gen 5G phones who are not in a current Sprint 5G market, what are the odds those individuals will get the upgrade offer? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  7. Whenever I went to Atlanta I had nothing but good things to say about Sprint there. He may have took the dog and left you with the MB but you now have a collectors item [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Atleast its confirmed from Sprint. I would guess these notifications are coming any day now. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  9. I would like to assume that they’d start notifying those individuals starting the 28th, the same day that the Sprint s20 line gets access to T-Mobiles low band 5G. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It hasn’t hit my account yet, I can upgrade but it’s requiring me to either pay off the device to own it or the remaining of the 18 month lease. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Do you know when this offer for us first gen 5G users will start? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So now the question is, for those with older “5G” that gets this device offer will need to switch over to a T-Mobile plan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My takeaways from tbis 1. Columbus Ohio is now getting 5G 2. My V50 that I’ve had for almost 3 weeks will not have 5G access and will simply be a LTE device..not too late to return it.
  14. ThIs is the first I’ve heard of this second email going out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Odd change of events, my iPhone X seems to perform damn good on b25 in Columbus, OH. My V50 parks itself on B41 and is not as good. The download varies but the upload cannot even complete due to the configuration on the network. I personally don’t mind staying on b25 if I’m getting these kind of speeds. I reinstated the Sprint bands on my V50. I’ll just wait until whatever OTA gets pushed out to it to access T-Mobile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That would be a great idea. Instead of just saying no reverse roaming for T-Mobile customers, allow it only in strong Sprint markets and in areas/ towers where T-Mobile lacks but Sprint is better in that same location. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I agree especially if it's not a strong Sprint market. I think the decision to to have T-Mobile not roam on Sprint was done to ensure that they dont lose customers in the event tmo customers started to have a bad network experience if they happen to latch onto sprint. 18. Cap was removed in Columbus Ohio. After disabling the Sprint bands, I latched onto b66 and got 36 down and 20 up. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  19. Agreed. I just want them to expand coverage past tmobiles current footprint as well. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  20. I noticed that too. I just ordered the V50 the other day since it was down to $600. It has all the bands on T-Mobile but i doubt i'll be getting the low band 5G with it but will for sure see the mid band 5G on 2.5. Maybe the V50 is just phased out. I will say the data speeds are way better than what I get on my 11 Max Pro. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  21. I'd rather not see him at all. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
  22. Within the Service Cell Info, I found the TAC labeled as Tracking Area Code. I kinda figured it might be the correct one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Mine is 45305 on mi iPhone. It’s under the Serving Cell Info Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Wow I cannot believe it, Sprint as we all know it is over. A end to a era. Looking back at it all, it was really a ride but a fun one at that in retrospect. We’ve definitely created a bond and community here. S4GRU was/still is one my favorite forums to be on. Even though we all will be under a new brand and stuff. I hope that this forum as we know it will not go away. I thank Sprint for the highs and lows but more so everyone who has participated on here for the past few years!
