Come on customer retention!

I saw this a month ago and posted it on reddit and was told by many on there and downvotes that I was on the business website. Go figure others are seeing it now. If Sprint really brings contracts back, would it really help them at this point with customer retention?

If this merger goes through will T-Mobile inherent Tidal as well since Sprint has some ownership in it? I think it’s something T-Mobile can really market and make it work.

Because of the “ghetto” carrier.

How has your experience been compared to Sprint?

Masa really just bought something here in the US just to say he bought it. He should’ve just bought he’s large stage in T-Mobile from the beginning. Because of what what little he did with/for Sprint, he should’nt have been allows to buy it. It was a waste of everyone’s time.

I wish the iPhone X was on this list.

Hmm. Gotta say what you must to get this merger to pass. I was pretty shocked with how similar the results of TMo and S are. Worse case if they are denied the merger (highly doubt), Sprint just needs to focus on their current footprint (which they started to do now) and get that together and then expand. They could shine in the 5G world IF they played their cards right.

Im thinking about up grading my X to the XS via the sprint promotion. With all the news of the Rf issues with the Max and XS is it really worth it? I would hate to get the XS and my reception is not as good as what I have the X.

It’s definitely not. From the places I go in Columbus, everything is fine overall. A magic box could help but I don’t think you’ll get it within 14 days. I have a magic for my apartment and it helps. I get around 5down and 1up without it and with it I push about 20down and 5up. Not ultra fast but it’s enough for me.

I’m on the south east side as well and i’ve never been a fan of Sprints service whenever I go out to Canal.

For those with the XS/Max, have you noticed a difference in service or speeds?

Growth in your market is starting it outpace their resources in spectrum. I would like to think that at the rate them gaining customers the increase in capex would also be lateral.

So if I’m reading this chart correctly, from a 5G front Sprint would/bring speeds that will be competitive with the big two. T-Mobile would be absolutely the slowest (sprint of the 5G world). So this is T-Mobile saying “we need Sprint so that we can keep claiming we are the fastest.” Sprint will be the smallest carrier in coverage but will be able to handle their own in the speed dept and could become a threat.

I kinda take Sprint Care with a grain of salt after my last few interactions with them. Based on the VoLTE map soft launch I saw on here, that's more than a few markets its being launched in.

Really don’t. I’d like to know as well. How they’ve committed to spending $5-$6b per year for the next few years one would think, do you really need the merger? T-Mobile has spent that much on the network per year and look where it’s gotten them. What they are doing and what they are “claiming” on their merger promo run are two different things.

Each carrier gave their thoughts on their 5G yesterday. Vzw, Sprint and AT&T give some good thoughts overall. However, T-Mobile gave its thoughts that was a eyeroll. They pretty much said that the customer doesn’t care about what is running their phone Conntion as long as it works. If memory serves me correct they said this same thing about coverage. No one cares about coverage in the middle of no where. Now that they have the low band, the new tune is we cover as much as Verizon. If they can keep investing this $6b per year yes. If they can win some speed studies it’ll definitely give them good attention and exposure.

Hopefully it has it. But am I missing something between both models of the XS? It looks like it’s supporting the same bands and stuff.
