    As of the earnings call, it wasn't on the presentation. Assurance is more focused on low income homes that can't afford some of the better features that we have with our smartphones.

    Agreed. As long as they can make money with it, why shut it down? I know their ultimate goal is to migrate all their customers to LTE, but until they complete their complete overlay, they need to keep all the existing WiMax towers going. I'm curious to know who they have as the vendor to put up the equipment.

    I think the 3G radio in the Shift is crappier and weaker than the Viper.

    If you have the ability to, can you please test the Viper against the EVO Shift and let me know which one has better 3G data? I really want the Viper all of a sudden.

    I was, but I want SVDO without going to a GSM prepaid. And if I get this, I will be cancelling my main line and paying the ETF so my bill won't go too high, or putting it on seasonal standby for 6 months for $9/mo, and re-evaluate then.

    I am so ready to get this phone now. Sprint has finally allowed me a 3rd line on my account, 14 months after I opened it, and I can get the Viper from Wirefly for $20 with free activation. Who thinks I should do it?

    It is possible as someone was able to port the EVO 3D ROM to the Shift with WiMax intact. So now I just patiently wait.
