    ZTE Aurora

In early December, ZTE submitted the ZTE N9100 (aka Aurora) to the FCC. It includes support for CDMA band classes 0,1, & 10 and LTE Band Class 25. Rumor sites around the web indicate this phone will be released as a prepaid device on one of Sprint's prepaid groups. I also discovered on the FCC docs, that this phone does not support SVDO. Edit: According to the FCC label location document, the label is plastered with the Sprint logo, so this may be released as a Sprint branded device.
  2. According to some FCC Documents I found, it appears that MetroPCS and/or Cricket are preparing phones for potential roaming agreements to use Sprint LTE. The LG MS/LW 870 is compatible and was tested on LTE Band Class 25. Here is the test report document: LG Model 870
  3. Agreed. But I'm sure Sprint has their reasons.

  5. Looks kinda cool. But I'd rather have Mozilla's new Firefox OS on my phone before Ubuntu. Never really could get used to Linux in it's regular forms.
  6. Wow, harsh way of stopping her from getting it. I can attest to the crappy 1X/ EVDO service. I'm so glad I have WiFi to use, but even my WiFi radio in this phone is terrible, and I'm only 60 ft from the router and the signal has to cross the bathroom to get to my room, and it still drops out. My Viper held onto WiFi signal in my room better.
