I updated to 9.2 then received the carrier update to 23.1.
I have had the 9.2 beta for a few months now so no...

Got this today and it updated my carrier to "Sprint 23.1"...mb related to LTE roaming? Did anyone else get this?

The government loves it's rural places unfortunately. I'll still have service via my AT&T work phone but my company is ridiculous about restricting data usage on cellphone lines. Here is hoping the hotel has decent wifi (it won't).

Not sure where I should post this so I will ask here:
I'll be in Ridgecrest, CA this week and the coverage map shows off network roaming only BUT I could have SWORN when I was there years ago I had 3g coverage off a tower there. All I could find on s4gru was that it had a wimax protection site at one point. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4-wimax-protection-site-operation-confirmation/?p=13 (Do wimax protection sites only broadcast wimax and no CDMA?)
Shot in the dark but if anyone knows anything that would be helpful.
As far as I know, Ridgecrest has always been off network roaming on the map. It's one reason I avoid rural places like that.

I'm not defensive of his good experience. I'm defensive of his grammar. And I grew up with a grammar nazi at home, she should have been an English teacher, but that's neither here nor there. Hey, in my backwoods area, T-Mobile has twice the cell sites as Sprint. They use microwave backhaul here, as well as Verizon. All 4 carriers here have issues. I'm not even speaking of my market.

That was a such thing called a typo. And who is talking about Grammer this isn't English class. U said Tmobile speeds are slowing. I posted a speed test of a Tmobile line getting faster speeds JUST on band 4 than I saw sprint or att on multiple bands.
