"single page" and the unselected sorting links are basically invisible to me.

Also, enjoying the site. Thanks for suggesting it earlier today Robert.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, IP Board writes in CSS, which I have no idea how to fix. I will search through the settings to see if I can figure it out and gets some more contrast there for you. Sorry!!!

  2. I'm hoping that the next Nexus will be a Moto with RAZR MAXX like battery and updated specs. Maybe quad core. Saturday morning daydreaming...

  3. This is from a tower near where I work. Network vision equipment is on it but not sure it has been turned on as the old antenna panels are still there. I was about 1000 ft from the tower.

Legacy Equipment stays on site for 45 to 60 days after switch over.

  5. Awesome as I am in the OKC metro area also!

Since I used to work at Sprint I do know where many of the towers are in central/NW OKC (for example, the tower I pull from at home is located near I-44 & Western Avenue, and at my previous job the tower was near I-44 & NW 36th St).

There are some online websites that show where ALL cell (and other types of towers) are located, but they are confusing since the "owner" of the tower is not a familiar name in many cases.

So this information will definitely be helpful!

When you become a S4GRU sponsor, you will be able to see all the sites in Oklahoma. It is now posted in the Sponsors Forum.

  6. And we must not forget they had mobile broadband build out requirements on the spectrum. It took them from 2008-2011 building out WiMax to meet FCC Minimum Coverage standards.

They likely couldn't have gotten rolling with LTE until Mid 2010 at the absolute earliest (and to be an early adopter like that would have been hugely problematic). There is no way in the world they could have met the FCC Minimum Coverage standard in less than 12 months from Mid 2010 to May 2011. WiMax was really their only choice in the short term.

  7. Its interesting to read. But you aren't going to get 2 amps, 1 amp or even 1/2 amp out of something like that. By the time you take it down to safe levels, you'd be lucky if you could charge your device at the same rate its depleting. Which wouldn't be a bad thing, in itself, I suppose.

But there is no way in the world I am going to put one of those cancer boxes in my home! :)

I don't have much of a need for wireless electricity myself. But I do appreciate you posting the link. It was interesting to read from the toilet.

  8. I am thinking more graphics are needed. Maybe a timeline. Or maybe just color that Market Map you had. Three colors for three rounds (it IS three' date=' right)?

Or do you have this already?[/quote']

Four rounds. And I should consider something a little more illustrative. Although, I may need to delegate this to someone. Any takers?

  9. I have noticed recently that 4G WiMAX in Westchester NY has been having lengthy outages. The phone will connect to a WiMAX tower' date=' but then no data services are present. When I switch back to 3G it works fine. There are also times when I am connected and then the phone will just drop 4G for no reason and then will not reconnect. I personally cannot wait for NV and LTE to be done with Clearwire. Hopefully Sprint has learned to always take care of your own network first. Is there a way to report an outage to Clearwire or Sprint without having to call and them acting like it is your phone?[/quote']

I don't know of any other way to report the issue. However, I did have a friend in Vegas who had the same problem and it was his device. Do you know anyone else with a WiMax device that you can compare with to see if they are having the same problem? If they are, definitely call.

  10. McAlester' date=' OK is confirmed not selling services. I suspect most sites in Oklahoma are not really in service![/quote']

Not selling, yes. Clear doesn't sell service in Protection Site areas. However, does the service work there with your Sprint WiMax devices? If so, what kind of performance did you encounter?
