dkyeager
Yesterday Sprint announce the creation of PhillieCo, LLC and and WirelessCo, LLC and asked the FCC to transfer 117 and 107 spectrum licenses to these entities from their similarly named Limited Partnerships. Perhaps this is the beginning transactions for the long awaited NetworkLeaseCo which is to provide funding for the Next Generation Network via a quasi collateral arrangement. http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/applLicenses.jsp?applID=9563072 http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/applLicenses.jsp?applID=9563113&valCsNumOfRows=0&csPageNum=1
WiWavelength
Yesterday Sprint announce the creation of PhillieCo, LLC and and WirelessCo, LLC... I doubt that this is notable. PhillieCo and WirelessCo -- in some way, shape, or form -- have existed for over 20 years. PhillieCo was Sprint's joint holding company with Comcast for the Philadelphia MTA; Sprint later bought it out in full. And WirelessCo was Sprint's own holding company for most MTA based licenses acquired at the first PCS auction that ended around this time 21 years ago.
