Nokia offers new products for switch from Wimax to TD-LTE

Nokia Networks is offering new products to help Wimax operators migrate to TD-LTE Advanced. The company is enhancing its portfolio of 1.9-2.6 GHz and 2-pipe to 8-pipe TD-LTE radios with a 3.5 GHz carrier aggregation capable radio and adding new TD-LTE Advanced features and services. Operators can reuse the majority of their infrastructure while enhancing their network with new features, capacity and support for the latest smartphones and tablets, Nokia said.
