iloome LG G2 Screen Protector

So... I just ordered myself a screen protector from iloome. Has anyone ordered a screen protector from them, if so, how is it? If I thought the G2 would survive a fall in the folio case, I'd just use that, but obviously it's thin plastic, come on LG!

Not sure if it's been discussed here or not, but if any of you are thinking about getting an otterbox defender, please be aware that it has a gap between the screen and screen protector. I didn't think it'd be that bad, but it really is terrible. Once the screen protector arrives, I'm going to pop the otterbox one out of the defender. Other than that, the case is great, saved my G2 numerous times.

I ordered it off of ebay from iloome. (You can either order it from their site or ebay, I found that it would ship faster through ebay after placing the first order through their site then cancelling it) They also have a deal running (Ebay says 2 days left), and supposedly it's a 43% off deal, so I paid $16.99.

Thanks for the heads up.  I just ordered one from E Bay.  I have an Otterbox Commuter case which I like but I have been unhappy with the screen protector that was included.

Here's another alternative Glass protector:

It's a tad pricey, but I bought one from my N5 and I always forget there is a screen protector. The best decision I ever made was getting this glass protector.

Also how does flexible glass work? o.o

The defender is great other than that stupid air gap. It makes using the phone sometimes annoying. Too bad there isn't as many cases as there are for the Samsung Galaxy S3/S4. I really miss my Griffin Survivor. I loved that case, I ditched my old Otterbox defender case (For the Samsung Galaxy S3) until a few months ago, the case started ripping due to heavy wear and tear.

The thing I hate about the Otterbox defenders is that dust gets underneath the dang screen protector, so that's another reason why I ordered a screen protector. My Griffin Survivor never had that problem, as they fully sealed the display inside the case, where there is cut-outs in the Otterbox.

If I don't like my iloome, I'll probably give that a try. Based on the reviews, I think I should be happy. This is the first time I've ordered a glass screen protector, so hopefully I'll like it. I've always had plastic built in screen protectors, so this should be a nice change. You know, I don't understand why they made it flexible, I would only see that being useful for the LG G Flex.

Trust me, once you try a glass screen protector you will never ever want to go back. It's literally as if your phone ever had a protector in the first place. I never liked plastic protectors because when applied wet, they tend to have the orange peel effect, and if not they feel stick after a while.

Never, ever going back to plastic TEP protectors.

Anti-graffiti film, the same thing applied to bathroom mirrors in stores like Kohls, is much better of a material than those "plastic" screen protectors. It doesn't feel like it's there, and I sell it for much cheaper than even those glass screen protectors.

I've never been to a Kohl's. But they are building one down here, so one day I'll know what you are talking about!

There are some other department stores that use Anti-graffiti on their bathroom mirrors too.

    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
    • What is the cheapest way to try Dish's wireless network?  Over the past year I've seen them add their equipment to just about every cell site here, I'm assuming just go through Boost's website?  What phones are Dish native?
