  1. I had the Google Play Services issue yesterday. 73% of my battery usage by evening. Restarting seemed to fix it. Haven't seen it since.

I think you are right . restarting and I also disabled "scanning always available " under WiFi advanced too care of the issue

  2. That's not horrible... Check your usage history and see what apps are draining your battery. Theres talk of a Google Play Services bug causing problems in the LG G2 thread, but I am not sure if it affects the N5 as well.

WiFi was off the whole time

  3. Couple weeks ago I ordered a white Nokia DT-900 wireless charger from Amazon for $32 with Prime. I just decided to order another one for the office and saw that the price is now $45? A $13 increase? Why could this be?

I just ordered the Nokia dt-900 direct from amazon for 24.99 for the black color only

  4. For the great deals that a Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7 are, holy crap that is expensive. You can find good Qi wireless charging pads on Amazon for less than half that price. I'm not planning on buying any wireless charging pad myself anytime soon, but jeez, $50?

Looks like the Nokia 900 is good choice. less than $25

  5. I had issues receiving calls as well. Turns out it was Google Voice. Once I disabled account integration and got rid of it, my calls work perfectly again. This was on my G2. Might be worth a shot on the N5,though.

I use Google voice only to make international calls maybe that's why I didn't have issues

  6. Is anyone having issues with Sensorly? During mapping Sensorly just closes on its own. Upon reinitiating mapping it does not collect any data.

Funny I just ran Sensorly on way to drop my kids at school 30 min ago .ran fine when I checked collected data

  7. Although I have returned my phone to Google I was curious if anyone having the problem where you cannot answer an incoming call when connected to LTE has seen any resolution to the issue yet. I was not able to get any help from either Sprint or Google. When this issue is sorted out I was going to consider buying the phone again. Thanks

I just did a test few min ago.I asked my wife to call me .no issues(LTE)

  8. Getting my Nexus 5 tomorrow morning. Hopefully it'll come before my class then I can confirm whether or not it's possible to connect to band 41 as of tomorrow.

You guys said to activate via swap online? What about the sim card? I have the 3FF one but I haven't even opened it. Does it need to be activated? Looking to avoid the $36 fee.

  9. People have repeatedly asked the differences between Sprint and Google play versions of the N5. They are identical. Besides the packaging and the sim card being included with the sprint version.

Do u need a SIM remover tool for the one sold at sprint ?

  10. So I got my Nexus 5 screen protector in the mail (the zagg invisibleShield variant)... Still waiting for that "shipped" email for my Nexus 5. The 26th is next week, but it seems like I've been waiting forever.

I'm already bored with N5 .can't wait for N6 now. lol

  11. Yup. Got 2 of them from my local AT&T store for $20 each. Love love LOVE them! One on my desk at work and one next to my bed. I always thought wireless charging was a silly luxury that i'd never take advantage of. Now i can't imagine not having it!

  12. I did get a price match.. 349 at best buy.. but in all fairness, I really played the Elite+ card (spent over 8k there this year), and bought their warranty, (which I will cancel on day 32).... Plus I know the guy who sold it to me...

I'm happy to give my money to Google, plus shipped to your house . not seeing a best buy geek is PRICELESS
