  1. No bloatware. It is very quick to response, I was shocked to notice a difference from the HTC One, I didn't believe I would notice it. Stock experience.

Not seeing block buster video app, NASCAR and many worthless hard coded apps is priceless

  2. 1.2 for the dt-900 charger? Their specs online have it rated at 750mAh, but that could certainly be wrong. I'll pick one up in a few weeks so I'll know for sure then.

On the back it said 12v 750 mah

  3.

I think I'll order a screen protector from amazon (BB doesn't carry any) and use the remaining $5.89 to go towards installation of said screen protector.

  4. I have just had like the 3rd spontaneous reboot of my n5 since I got it.

    Anyone else experienced random reboots?

Screen was off, just streaming some googlemusic.

Using the ART, and while I have had various app crashes with it, I haven't been able to determine if that is causing the phone reboots.

not a single time since i got last week.

    bad App maybe?

  5. Same error when trying to look for updates here as well.  I'm really surprised that this hasn't been addressed by Sprint.  I guess everyone uses Google Voice, but I simply cannot stand it.

They have no problem creating and hard coding crappy Apps like Nascar, blockbuster video  and many other worthless Apps.

BTW . anyone know the N5 sale numbers ?or how many Sprint sold?

Yes, but I had a slightly newer version, 5.3.4.32. Maybe that other version will work, can't hurt to try.. but like digiblur mentioned, I think part of it is on the network side.

"check for updates" doesn't even work. "general failure.try again later" 5.3.4.28.

funny thing I din't get a single VM since I activated the phone last week :-)

  7. I did (see my voicemail comments a few posts before yours).. restored from my EVO LTE with Titanium Backup. The app will open, and I can see my old voicemails.. but it does not do anything for new voicemails. Google Voice appears to be the only comparable option for now, but I'm not a huge fan of it.

Is this the same app like the one on your phone?

  8. Anyone have a car dock that they use for their Nexus 5? I had an EVO LTE with their car dock and grew to love it. I was able to use Tasker to turn on my bluetooth and put the phone in car mode automatically. The CD dock that was shown earlier won't work for me, because the cd disc in my altima is actually below the radio and in an awkward location. (six disc changer version).

EDIT: I found this car dock at Amazon and one reviewed mentioned the Nexus 5 is compatible right out of the box due to Qi charging. If only they had the Qi charger built into this magnet. That would be AWESOME!

Not a bad holder. they have the iMagnet CD slot phone holder too . I wonder if the magnet strong enough to hold the phone on a rough ride :-)

  10. I believe that is how the nexus work also. I had a friend show me on my own nexus 10 that when he never had any nexus devices lol.

The lenses have been around for a while, I think they just did it to make their product appeal to that niche. But who knows.

Is this what are talking about ? Got from Marlboro last year for free lol .I was gonna toss it away

What ever you buy don't get the one you hook to the air vent . I learned that the hard way. Did u check the cup mount holder,or the one you connect to the 12v ? For both are too low for me

  12.

Still with USCC, but thinking of pulling the trigger on a N5 or G2 tomorrow. Testing the display models in a couple stores (Arlington Hts, and Vernon Hills) has my hopes up that NV + tri-band device will leave me a happy customer.

paying full for the phone is the way to go. The phone works with all 3 big networks plus many MVNO
