Well i love the fact i have a opt out clause in my contract with sprint lol. my 2 lines that i wanted to get rid of they talked me into keeping them with 2 tab 3's and 5$ per month on each for the stupid 25 megs of data. I told them about the subsidy's going away and she was so sure it would never happen in full that she noted my account that if they do away with them i can opt out free of my 2 5$ plans and keep my Tabs 1 question. I have the phone on wifi and data turned off BUT 25 Megs is what? i mean how much internet get used when you check your e-mail or look up a phone number if you are on data? i know it can vary on how good a connection you have but i was just wondering is the 25 Megs used up in 1 check of a e-mail or what? I also called back and had them check my account and to make sure the account services Manager did note the account and it is noted lol

Yeah it has been awhile and Bradenton still is really bad when you drive out hwy 70 east. There are a lot of bad sports in west bradenton also with roaming coming in. in fact the best area for data is near my house lol where i do not really need it since i use wifi. But overall Bradenton has seemed to gotten worse than better.

I never said it was not true i said i covered my bases and had my account noted as so. I wanted to just let those 2 lines go as i have 9 lines on Framily and i really do not see the need for a Tablet plan of 5$ other than to have a upgrade. So its all good. When and if it is said i am sure there will be some type of grace period. I mean someone like 5 days away from a upgrade would be really mean lol. So i have a ETF free on my account of the Tablet line and not pay the 5$ per month anymore and get to use 2 upgrades I do think with how bad there service is in some areas they are going to lose a whole lot of people. It will be a huge deal braker for many people. There are many people i read on the net all the time that say they only stay with sprint caause of the upgrades. I also see it as a ETF out of contract free as well. When you sign a New 2 Year Agreement it pops up how long till you get your next upgrade and if they take like someone who is 100 days away there upgrade i think they should be able to ETF out free. Also places Like Amazon and Walmart and Best Buy sold a lot of phones of sprint. You think taking that away is going to go over well? Anyway i made the switch to the New Framily plan and covered my bases when and If they pull subsidy on all plans.

Again i told you that you would be foolish to pay 55$ when it is clearly 25$. They cant make you wait 2 bills to get the price that is just logic. As far as the upgrades go. I always get my account noted with notes so when stuff happens i get perks if they do. They talked me into keeping 2 of my lines on the tablet plan for 5$ a month because every 20 months it could use a upgrade. So i still would have 2 upgrades to fall back on in 20 months from now. Well i had a retentions Manager on the line who insisted there is noway they can totally do away with upgrades. That it would be total disaster for sprint to do so. I told her well i heard April. So she was no sure this will not happen that my 2 lines on the tablet plan have notes that if they do away with upgrades i can have 2 free with those lines right before it is gone. She said if something like that were to happen they would at least know a few days or weeks beforehand and she also gave me her direct number and a confirmation number that my account was noted. She said if it were to happen just call and she will give me 2 quick upgrades beofre it goes away. But she insisted that if this was going to happen that she would have heard about it. I told her sprint reps have said it. She said i am not a sprint rep nor a account services manager but a account Services supervisor and she thinks she would know before some employees would. I told her all i care about is what you noted in my account. She said thank you and we were done. I have mixed feelings on weather it will or will not happen but as of now it is fine with me cause i have 2 subsidy phones coming plus out of my tablet contract if it does happen. And Yes if you get your account noted by a Supervisor in rentions they will keep there word so i got my bases covered. But i still think she might be right. Sprint will die if they do away with them. Once everyone is out of contract it would be bye bye sprint for those who like phones on the cheap. Just passing along my convo with them today.

did you look in the part that says check out your Framily? and it shows like on mine 9 and says your monthy charge is 25$ ?? i mean this is a no brainer. If you did speak to account services which nis hitting 4 then 5 then 4 and speak to almost any rep you will not pay it. If you do good luck cause i know i will not. And if you were only 1 day left on your old plan prorated 1 day and everything else is Framily that can be at the most 10 days. They are not going to full bill you $55 per line in 10 days. The plan has only been out for 8 so i got no clue where you are looking for your bill but you are doing something wrong if you are getting a full framily bill. I mean read what you wrote. 1 day of your old plan and the rest Framily that is the most 10 days!!!!!!!!!!! there is no way to have a full bill of framily yet since it has been out only for a week. Done replying to this as either you are reading wrong or somthing but it is really a waste of time anymore since it is really silly. The plan just started how did you get a bill already? if you are looking online at your charges it does show $55 per line Monthly charge for service plan BUT if you click on the See My Framily status then you will see it say your cost is 25$ per month for that line and all the other lines say the same. If anyone pays the $55 and you are in a 7-10 framily plan then you are foolish. I can tell you 100000000000000000% ill pay $25 per line plus the $40 plus tax and that is it

That is because you guys need to learn about sprint. Everything you do get them to note it on your account. I moved today 9 lines of mine to the plan. The 1st time i checked they only had moved 7 then once i seen all 9 were moved i called up account services. When calling sprint ALWAYS talk to account services and for credits for sure. I told the rep so how much is my cost? she said 25 x 9 plus the 40 for UNlimited data on 2 lines plus tax. I then said please note that in my account. I HAVE NEVER had to pay for something that i did not feel i owe them. In 14 years with sprint the reason i stay is whenever i see a billing issue i call Account services which is the retentions dept where you call to leave sprint. So if you talk to anyone other than account services then you will not get it taken care of. I will bet you if you call account services and tell them when you signed up you were told 25$ per line. Also on my account it shows when you click on each line 55$ but if you look at the people in your family where it shows how many people are on your account it says there your cost 25$ per line.

Well sprint has on my account now all my phones listed that are able to use the easy pay feature. But it also says if you wait you can get great savings come July which is when the phone is due for a upgrade. So i have no idea how upgrades are going away so fast when they juust put on my account if you choose to not use the easy pay you will be able to upgrade on July 10th

I have no doubt everyone can stay on the ED1500 plan but if they do away with upgrades from sprint it will cost you more to stay there than if you were on 7-10 lines with framily. And if they do let it stay but do away with sprint upgrades then good luck with upgrades cause as of now the ED1500 plan is NOT in there computers anymore meaning try to buy a phone from Amazon with a upgrade now on the ED1500 i go on there at times just to test it and it says your line is able to upgrade but then when you go to the next part it is says your plan is not in the system so getting upgrades with a ED1500 plan other than sprint.com will be hard.

Also if i move in 2 days from now it will be 9 lines. I will have room for 1 line. After i see just how sprint.com works and how it shows billing and then if someone wants 1 line on there and it seems no harm to my account ill add someone. But again not till after i get a bill if i move to it in 2 days and see.

Well i wish we knew if they do away with upgrades from sprint.com does this mean once that contract is up they do not give you the option to go to walmart etc to upgrade. If they still let you go to like Best Buy or Walmart every 20 months and use the upgrade that is a game changer to stay on the old plans. I have no problem going to Best buy or Walmart to upgrade or radio shack since most of the time there prices are way cheaper on phones with a upgrade anyway.

They may have called sprint and you were not aware but i was told by a few reps that if you are on ED1500 plan now the plan is not in there system so when they try and upgrade it does not go unless they call in. And as of now you can still do it that way. I will miss upgrades but this plan will save me about 2k or more over 20 months and i can work with that for new phones. Goodluck.

Well i am not him but when he said this the other day i took it as everywhere. Cause if you have a old ED1500 Amazon etc will not upgrade it now even cause that plan is not in there system. When i tried to upgrade last month on AMazon on a line that was upgrade elig it came up the plan is not supported. Now i could call up sprint and get the phone from them and it work okay. Even if you go to Walmart they have to call up sprint if you are on the ED1500 plan. The only plajn right now that can upgrade with ease is the everything myway plan. But i took it as it would be from every place and if not good luck getting places to upgrade your phone on the ED1500 plan etc as it is not in the sprint system anymore so when you try and upgrade anywhere it does not let you anymore. You could do this as of September but since then it has been taken out of the sprint system

Well to me it is no perk. All that it is to me is you get the phone for full retail but you can pay it off with easy pay. But you get no deal on the phone. You pay full retail no matter what with this promo. I understand the 20$ for 12 months and give it back but this new thing to me is not a deal at all since you pay full retail. I guess it is a deal for those who can't afford 600$ right off i guess?

Can someone explain this to me the difference in it and and the next time you upgrade? i know it says you pay on easy pay but there is no subsidy but do you pay full retail? i am missing something. I see it says you get to keep the phone so if you are on unlimited data do you pay 20$ for 12 months and get the phone and keep it? I doubt this but just asking.

Lets say i get a Note 4 and pay 20$ for 12 months if and when that phone comes out. And lets say i root it. Then when the 12 months is up and lets say i want a new phone does Rooting the phone void my contract and they mot take it back?

I like to go to the store and change plans cause then i know when they tell me something they really put it in writing. When you call up and someone even in account services tells you something unless it is put into your notes its like they never said it. So Monday when i want to go in and change it the guy told me every line i move more will not have to pay the 15$ fee to move over. So ill tell him make sure to put that in my notes. Cause then if it shows up on my bill i can just say read the notes on my account and know it is there

Well i have 11 lines of service right now and my bill i just cheked average with nothing else bought is around $430.00 per month. The ED1500 plan with 5 lines is like 100$ but then after you add the 10$ fee and the 19.99$ data fee on each line you are over 220$ then the other 6 lines are on a old F&F plan that is like $110 for the 5 lines and each line has all the free perks but after you add the 10$ per line on 4 of them you are around 150$ so Here is about as close to what i pay now that i can get ED1500 with 5 lines 220$ F&F plan with 6 lines 150$ Sercharges total around 80$ Total EST 450$ per month is what i pay now and have upgrades avil ============================================================================================ Now if i move to the New plan the 1st thing is to drop 2 lines of service i do not even use. I have 2 lines that only cost me right now 5$ a month and i never got rid of them cause i just used the upgrades every 20 months. But with them going away soon it does not really matter anymore. So ill drop 2 lines and get 9 lines on Framily plan. 9 lines 25 X 9 = $225.00 2 Lines get Unlimited data $40.00 Sercharges around $70.00 will be a little less since 2 less lines of dummy phones. $335.00 approx per month.... Total of the New plan is ===================================================== So i will be saving a little over 100$ per month which over the course of a 20 month upgrade time is like 2200$ So yes i will lose upgrades but have you checked of late the mark up on sprint phones selling them? The Note 3 on sprint.com is $349 plus tax and a 2 year agreement. They sell on ebay for $500 and after selling it and taking off paypal fees and ebay fees you make maybe 75$ if you are lucky. Sprint phones are the cheapest on ebay for 2 reasons. #1 the service sucks in many places and #2 it is Cdma and people from other countires do not bid on them. The Iphone 5s sells on sprint for $200 plus tax and a 2 year agreement but on ebay you can get a New 5S sealed in box clean etc for $475 to $499 So in the end i save 2200$ over the course of 20 months and 2 lines that really only use lots of data will still have unlimited and can upgrade for $240 each year but have to give the phone back and get a new 1 and pay 20$ per month again. But i can see me waiting for the New phones to be out a month or 2 then get them New off ebay in 1 lump sum while selling my old phone. Lets say right now i have the Note 3. I keep it perfect and lets say in May a New iPhone comes out with a huge screen for 700$ i could sell my Note 3 on ebay for around $300 and pay the difference for the Iphone and rinse and repeat each time a new phone comes out. As long as i am not getting the phones from sprint there is no 10$ 24 months or $20 every 12 months. I know how to play the ebay game of keep a phone mint and then sell it to finance a New phone. Sorry for the long post but i was doing this more for me LOL.

Okay thanks and also i have the 10% credit union discount on my current plan. On this new plan there is no 10% discount or discounts right? and i called since i have 11 lines of service and only want 9 on the new plan. And they want to charge me 200$ etf fee since i am not bringing them over lol but hey you can only have 10 lines on there as it is we will see.

But if you switch you lose the upgrade. Cause if you use it then you would be signing another 2 year agreement and under this plan you can't do that. So if you have upgrades avil and switch from what they have told me you can upgrade but the pay 10$ for 24 months way but not the old way and get a phone at the cheap way.

Well i kinda understand that but lets say the iphone 6 comes out in 2 months. This is hypo but lets say it comes out in 2 months and i want it. So i then can say i want that and then pay 20$ a month for 12 months? I mean i would not see having to pay 20$ for 12 months without getting a phone lol. But what i meant was can you start the 12 months 20$ right away after signing up thanks.

Thanks for all your help. When you go into work try and find out about if i upgrade now a line wil they still forgive the 15$ per month like the guy in my local store told me thanks again. No need to reply unless you find out the answer to this question. Also in my other post i asked if i do move over and they forgive the 15$ do i need to wait till the line is able to be upgraded.
