  1. South Jersey is approaching the 2 year LTE anniversary. End of August 2013 was when we first got LTE in South Jersey.
  2. The acceptance rates have not been updated since March. I'm sure there is a difference now between the 3 markets since Southern Jersey has stagnated. However, a few percentage points is not a big deal. You are correct that the big difference will occur when they add small cells and new towers to fill the gaps. The newer suburbs, like the one I live in, do not have adequate coverage. From my experience, the densely populated areas have great LTE coverage. But the further you go out, data speeds go downhill fast. Voice is good almost everywhere.
  3. In contrast, Southern Jersey market has had only 3 updates since March. People in Central and North Jersey markets should feel good about their markets' progress.
  4. There is a feature on the s6 called Simple sharing. It allows you to share large files like videos with your contacts. I've only used it a couple times. I think it works well. It sends a link of the video.
  5. Yes, and of course, I am north of Mount Laurel and Mt. Holly where solid LTE ends.
  6. I agree, LTE coverage is very good in South Jersey as long as you stay north of Depford and south of Mount Laurel. Elsewhere, it seems like there have not been many LTE improvements for the last several months especially in the more rural areas. Voice and 3G perform very well in most parts of South Jersey. Did a T Mobile test drive for a week. Dropped many calls in the rural areas and Edge data speeds were useless. However, wherever I did have 4g, the speeds were quite amazing. T Mobile LTE coverage is even more spotty than Sprint.
  7. Yes, it does has wifi calling. I've been using wifi calling on the s6 since yesterday and it seems to work well for now.
  8. Was driving around in the Mount Laurel and Marlton area the other day. Had constant LTE all over the place. Wish it was like that in Northern Burlington County where it is mostly 3G with some LTE here and there. I'm hoping Northern Burlington will be mostly LTE by summer.
  9. Have not seen anywhere that the Note 2 will be receiving Lollipop. Hoping Samsung will update this popular phone even though it is quite old.
  10. My Note 2 is in for repairs and have to use my old WiMAX Photon in the meantime. Was surprised to find that I can still connect to WiMAX at work. Same area also had solid LTE with my Note 2. Can the same tower have both LTE and WiMAX? Wonder how long WiMAX will be available.
  11. It seems to me like the LTE progress in South/Central Jersey area has stalled over the last month or 2. Anyone else notice this?
  12. Now that Verizon has the Icon, what are the chances that Sprint may see a Nokia soon?
  13. Now that we have many 800 sites in south and central jersey, does anyone have any experience with a tri band device? Is the switchover between 800 and 1900 seamless? Has it really improved calls and data coverage?
  14. Found some LTE on route 206 in Burlington County near Columbus. Drive by every day. Today is the first day I got a LTE signal. Mapped it on Sensorly.
  15. I mapping LTE on Sensorly in a remote area below Allentown NJ. Found the tower which happend to be in someone's back yard. 4g signal was very inconsistent and didn't go too far. I hope there will be an improvement from this tower in the future.
  16. Princeton and Trenton are considered to be in the Southern Jersey market according the this map and text. Chesterfield is well south of Trenton. Do you think the LTE signal might have come from Pennsylvania whose border is about 5 miles away? (Alcatel Lucent has begun Network Vision/LTE deployments in the Southern Jersey market. The market includes Trenton, Camden, Atlantic City, Princeton, Cherry Hill, Vineland, Millville and Cape May. 302 sites total. Click on Map to Enlarge.
  17. I just had LTE In Chesterfield, northern Burlington County. I believe that this is far enough from Philadelphia that it it must be a South Jersey tower. I mapped it on Sensorly. Don't see it yet. Tried to do a speedtest but wasn't able to get a network connection. Probably testing of some sort.
