How do you know? I bought it because it has both 1900 and 800...
I think too many people are getting 800 voice and 800 LTE mixed up.
-
Well we got updated radio software, a new kernel, sense stability improvements and something about hd voice.
Thanks. The hd voice thing is making me curious.
-
Not sure what you're asking.
The new radio you mentioned was on the update. I am just trying to figure out what we got.
-
Yes, there is a new radio with this update.
What is it? I don't know.
-
My EVO says 25016.

I still like it but I did find a problem. My current location goes underneath the news feed on the map when moving. If there is a way to get rid of the news feed I guess it's not a problem but I can't figure out a way to hide it.
Tap the map part of the screen.

Congrats!!!!

I also unsubscribed and resubscribed a week or so ago and it came back the last few times, but I never got the one today.
-
Kit Kat it is.
Huh. Well Ilike Kit Kat's better anyways.
-
i think the next android update is "Kit Kat" and looks like we are staying o the 4 series.
Kit Kat? I think it is Key Lime Pie.
-
Yep, been watching daily and no dice yet.
It has been about 3 weeks since anybody has been out. Sucks! Oh well.
-
Yep I can show you some like this sitting for 8 months or more. Sometimes they will tie in the regular T1s and just 3g accept the site until backhaul comes.
Shhhhhhh. Mine is still not up and running. Ugh.

Those are wrong, sorry to break it to you. I know for fact Sprint lists the the Blaine/Coon Rapids NV was completed on July 10th, but the towers won't function properly for months (October supposedly).
LTE and NV are 2 different things btw.
And my post isn't inaccurate. I know this for a fact. Being a sponsor, no way I'm paying for that. Your paid info is scoped from a Sprint rep.
Well, let's see your facts then? I would love to see where Sprint is listing Blaine/Coon Rapids as complete. Like njjdnt said, the reason they won't function properly is because the Minnesota market has not been officially launched. Even then, towers do go down sometimes. So if you can't show your facts, I guess that means that I will keep trusting my "scoped Sprint rep" as you say.

Trust me, you don't want to see AJ's YouTube response video for that!
Robert
I think we will anyways, Ha ha.

Well, I was going to ask about this really funky rash I have. But....
-
Makes sense if you are an EVO 4G LTE user Sounds like one of the problems with that phone is it can lock on to a stronger 3G signal.
I disagree in my case. The place where I work has Sprint antennas on the roof and I have access to them. I can stand next to the antennas and get a strongest 3G signal you will ever see, but my phone will connect to a 4G signal from a different site farther away.

Trailer full of RRUs?
When they were out doing my site, these look a lot like the skids of batteries. The RRU's were already attached to the antenna assembly.

I know it has been going for a few days, but it is nice to see Roseville's first LTE live site now over by Rosedale Mall.
-
If AT&T works for you, then stay with it.
-
Thanks, I have tons more. I was blessed to have the NV transformation on the building where I work and I am the person in charge of keeping an eye on them when they are here. Fascinating stuff up close, like the up close in the cabinet stuff.

So I wanted to take a bike ride today. Figured I'd go take pictures of the 3 closest towers to me in Madison. I've never done this before, so I'm not great at spotting new equipment. Any help would be appreciated.
Album here: http://imgur.com/a/jrHoT
The first 3 pictures are from an apartment building just south of campus on Park St (this was hard to find at first). Looks like old equipment. I imagine the cabinets are on the roof, because I couldn't find them.
The next 8 pictures are from the Fish Hatch/Beltline tower. There were so many things up there, I couldn't tell what anything was. I couldn't tell if those cabinets (3rd and 4th pictures) were old, and I couldn't get any closer/other angles.
The last 3 are 2 different angles of the McKee Rd tower.
Maybe these will help too.
800 MHz RRU on left, 1900MHz RRU on right.
The one in the middle.
