    After reading the Chicagoland thread and how they're putting backhaul upgrades on hold to fix the tower handoff issue here, I had a thought... Sprint isn't planning on flipping the 4G switch without the enhanced backhaul right? That would make no sense

    After reading this thread... a lot of things are making sense now. The dropping calls were TERRIBLE from February (when they kicked off NV upgrades here) till about the middle of May. Lately though, I've noticed that call quality is MUCH better, but wondered why data was still slow. Makes sense that they put the NV equipment live before the backhaul. On a different note, I speedtested 3G last night at my home, and it hit 1.2Mbps.... I was like

    Right on. Kinda what I figured, but I thought I'd ask anyway since the article gave the impression EVDO would be deployed on the 800 SMR band as well. Thanks for the info
