  1. VM Canada is both post-paid and prepaid.

Also, hopefully Boost will get the iPhone too now that Virgin is getting.

Yeah, boost should get it. I'm curious if they would put the Shrinkage plan on that phone, or not.....

  2. Sprint sure has a lot of iPhones it needs to sell, though.

Yeah, of course. Sprint thought they would sell more iPhone than they expected.....Cause when Sprint didn't have the iPhone everyone on Sprint basically wanted one. It was a very high demand thing, til everyone started switching carriers. VM should do really good with the iPhone. Apple is starting to slip a little, so they are starting to release it more to other carriers around the world. You see ever since Steve Jobs passed, more ports are opening for iPhones to come into Post-paid & Pre-Paid carriers. VM (Canada) had the iPhone for a while now though.

  3. As disappointing as it may be, there are cities larger than Raleigh that will start NV/LTE much later. Raleigh has a very coveted spot in the schedule for a city its size. My market, Albuquerque, is near the end.

Yeah, of course. Raleigh is pretty small compared to other cities. Just thought it would be complete a little more faster, since thing supposedly are going well with updates, through out the country.

  4. I just had family with Sprint phone pass through Raleigh and they didn't report any issues. They apparently got lost and were able to call for assistance and everything while downtown. Perhaps its fixed now or it is just affecting a few specific areas? They are in Charlotte now and they have no issues there either.

Yeah, Charlotte coverage is much better, than Raleigh's. Yeah, I believe it certain areas. Downtown Raleigh has really good coverage. I get almost all my bars, when at work. Data on the other hand not so good, but call quality is excellent.

  5. i am working and living partially in Athens, GA... but my home is in Raleigh area... this is very disappointing news, going from 1 extreme to the other.

Yeah, I really don't know what is going on.....Raleigh market used to be so good, now it so sh*tty....smh....

  6. I have had some dropped calls, and really bad static in my phone lately. Data speeds has been terribly bad! Some of the towers are over capacity.....They said have to put up more T1 lines to help the coverage, and data issues. Been very disappointed lately. Sprint (Ticket Services) even call me back to tell me when they estimated time would be for the little update to be complete....smh...September 1, 2012...that is way too long. LTE won't drop for Raleigh/Durham til sometime in 2013, so they need to fix these issues!

  7. That would be great. Although it could just be that they want to get 4.0.4 running correctly on it. According to the FE07 RDF document that was released yesterday, the FE07 build will be running on 4.0.4. I would love to see S Voice and the feature where it stays on when you're looking at it. Is that second one baked into the SIII's software only or is there a special lens in the front camera that features that capability?

Hmm, not sure. I believe it should work, just as long as u have front-facing.....I would love the S Voice too, cause Vlingo is cool, but it's not like Siri or S Voice (way better than Siri.....lol)....

  8. Do you think the reason, why Samsung hasn't released ICS for the Galaxy 2 Series is because they are adding features to it? Like they are adding some of the GSIII features to the build? After seeing the press release and launch I would love to have some of those features from the GSIII on the GSII....

  9. They said 40% of those iPhone customers were new to Sprint. That's great news... If Sprint can get the network tip-top they should be able to hammer AT&T and VZW in advertising over the unlimited data issue and steal a lot of customers.

Very True, but we will see! Sprint still has a long way to go.

  10. I read this earlier and honestly this news is a lot better than what many people were thinking it was going to be, including myself. If network vision really turns out to be the next best thing since slice bread then sprint will be in the drivers seat. I really hope they can pull this off.

Yeah, hearing the press release, they seem like they got everything planned out pretty well. We will see how well it goes from June all the way to 2014
