Mine refuses to map anything.  I have all the settings set just like me S3 which worked fine.  Im going to try uninstalling and reinstalling I guess.

Anyone have issues with Sensorly not mapping on the G3?  Sprint finally kicked on the LTE in my town yesterday and I did some mapping but after I was done it said that 0 points were collected.  I have location settings set to High accuracy.

didnt notice anything different in my area, and we all know how bad sprint maps exaggerate the lte coverage. ..

Funny thing is we have had lte, bands 25 and 26 so I guess that would be spark, on the south side of town since May.  Still doesn't show on the map.

Another observation is if I do one line of Unlimited Talk/Text with 2GB of data on Sprint that is $25+$15= $40

 

Verizon is $60

T-Mobile is $50 for 1GB and Unlimited Talk/Text

AT&T is $65 for 2GB and Unlimited Talk/Text

Strange indeed. Mine were all set to off. I had zero animations, which I thought was lame for a flagship Android handset.

 

I have them all set to 1x now, like yours. Totally different phone. If you want to know what it is like, turn them all off.

I am going to wait for the single line plans to come out before I pass to much judgement.  As of right now the 2gb of data with subsidy on Vzw is $5 cheaper.

Done, I think.  First time I have ever used my twitter account.

So far it seems the pattern is mms only works on wifi calling if you don't have Google voice integration. No one has definitively said that gv + wifi calling = mms.

Makes sense too me. I don't have Google voice and have no problems with mms over Wi-Fi.

God, if only Tapatalk would update their app, it is super jumpy/stuttery when scrolling on my G3. Is this a problem with other Android phones as well or is it just on the G3?

The Uconnect in my 2014 Dodge Dart seems to work fine via bluetooth. Google play music played from day one once I had opened it.  I have since disabled the lg app because I figured that I would never have a need to use it and have not had any ill effects.  I did have an issue with the car continuously asking permission to download my phonebook at first but that worked itself out.  Each system is a little different I guess.

You may have to re-do Hands Free Activation. ##SCRTN#. I had that problem, but going through reactivation fixed it.

Long press the multi task button. Menu! Voila

skid beat me to it, but the recent apps button doubles as a menu button, just as the home button doubles as a Google Now launcher if you long press it.

Thanks guys.  Still learning the little things.

Picked up a G3 today.  Loving it.  I do miss having a menu key by the Home key but I'll get use to it.

Yeah, I roam on EVDO in the U.P. all the time. But it's always when I'm connected to a Cellcom site. Verizon sites are always 1x.

My G2 did the same thing. I restarted the phone and it is back to one icon.

So what you're saying is the electrical grid in our country is woefully over-subscribeAnd, nearly on the brink of collapse, and easily disturbed if someone wanted to. The same things that hundreds of people have been warning us about for years (especially since the northeast blackout back in 2003) and the power companies have done little to alleviate the vulnerabilities in the system.

And yet they continue to increase rates.

I unplug my consoles when I am not using them. One could also use a smart strip.

I just do not understand why existing customers have to jump through hoops to join together in framily plans.  Why would a person like myself with one line start a framily to get absolutely zero discount?   We are customers not sales agents.

I've been on other forums and users are using absurd amounts of data. There's even one user that left for tmo because sprints data wasn't fast enough for him to constantly download and stream movies while at work.

Wow, that is rediculous.  Does no one work while they are at "work" anymore?  My phone doesn't leave my vehicle while I am at work.
