  1. Only for verizon's version. It will work with other carrier's versions but nfc will be lost. Apparently verizon's has 2 extra contacts behind the battery cover that are for the nfc antenna that is in the induction charging battery cover.

  2. i did a little research on the custom touchstone job myself. not really sure i want to start doing that much to my gs3 yet. its just sitting on my coffee table, unactivated, warming up after riding around in cold ups trucks for the last few days. wireless charging is something that i would really like to use tho. its not that pluging a cable in is an issue. but my 2 phones prior to my og evo both went to the graveyard due to the charging ports being messed up. the less i have to stick something in there the better

  3. Has anyone heard any news on the wireless charging kit for sprints GS3. I searched the forum and didn't find anything recent. I also know that there are third party kits out there as well as a official samsung back plate for verizon phones. I have read that all of these will work on sprints gs3 but we would lose nfc capability.

  4. I didnt see an option for store pick up either. Then again, the nearest sprint store is 70 miles away, maybe the website is that smart. In the end, ups says that my gs3 will be at my door on monday. I can wait a few more days, been waiting a couple months just for this deal

  6. Just an FYI. In case you fellas want you new GS3 instantly on Black Friday.

Walmart - $129 and you recieve a $100 girft card with it making the phone essentially $29

    Best Buy - $48.88

Sams Club - $0.97 (need to be a member of course)

i plan to purchase online from sprint to avoid the black friday madness

  7. it looks like i would be paying roughly $60 a month with taxes and whatnot. i currently pay sprint 70 with my employer discount, factor in buying the gs3 at full retail. doesnt sound like i would save much. but i can see wehere people who do not use as much data as i do would see a significant savings

  8. I am/was dual booting it on my laptop along side windows 7. I did not play with it very much as I didnt like it. Navigating it with a mouse seemed very clumsy to me. Not to mention, like previoulsy stated, Microsoft is known to pretty much fail on every ther os. Id stick with 7.
