  1. In maui wimax reaches everywhere because clearwire has leased a spot on this very huge radio station tower and they got dibs at the very top
  2. Whats the Difference? Sprint's WI-MAX was Setup by clearwire and not sprint themselves WiMax is sort of like WiFi so its capable of delivering high speeds too.
  3. if clearwire continued to roll it out and continued to upgrade it it would have been capable for todays market its sad to see it go by 2015 tests were done Indoors with the signal reading as 'Poor'
  4. No i'm about a mile away from the tower funny thing is the signal is a bit jerky.. if i turn south i drop to 3 bars and i get WAY less than that lets hope NV fix's that signal inconsistency throughout the entire island
  5. Before network vision starts in Hawaii Maui etc. here is a 'Decent' Before Network vision speeds 5/5 3G Strength They arn't Decent Everywhere... Lets see what network vision will bring us!
  6. Yeah virgin and boost use clears wimax I'm sticking with my og evo 3d wimax device

  8. WiMAX is fast in hawaii maui faster than verizon Lte and at&t lte
  9. Yup its a sprint site, you guys gonna laugh on this but on windy conditions maybe some north/south trade winds the structure actually shakes as its made from like some sort of PBC plastic.
  10. is there a map even for hawaii? and is that all what you said above is S4GRU Premier Sponsor or just regular sponsor?
  11. What kind of maps should i get from just donating? what are 'some interactive maps'
  12. so because no one in Hawaii (Maui) has no nextel phones we should be getting 800Mhz quick right?
  13. its on prepaid VM, i got verizon but i would like to change for that sweet unlimited data but right now its not that promising as unlimited is '100kb'
  14. eHRPD is basically 3G for 4G lte phones its like the crossover between 3G and LTE if enabled (i think) and only LTE capable phones pick it up
  15. REV A;6 is normal sprint 3g REV A;8 is Eherpderp (eHRPD)
  16. well i have always looked @ the coverage map and this was new for me
  17. has anyone noticed that Sprint has changed their coverage map and now include 'Recent' Towers and 'Future' towers i presume these are they old Nextel iDen sites that they are converting?
  18. Then it must be possible back then with minimal congestion where as now in 2013 you have a ton of congestion on clearwire.
