    My wife flew cross country to/from San Diego last week for a conference, and I was surprised she was actually able to text me midair much of the time via their WiFi service (she flew United). I knew certain apps would work (usually WhatsApp which I haven't used in years and won't any longer) and FBM also worked for us when we switched to it, but I didn't expect her to start texting me out of the blue at 37k feet up.

    Steam Train Edit: speaking as a steam engine afficianado, highly recommend watching the video the entire way through....it is *very* rare to get to see a classic steam locomotive running at this kind of speed nowadays. All the excursion rides you can take on steam engines never come close to this kind of captivating power and (for my part) beauty in action.

    Received a text stating I've been 'un-enrolled from your promotional service T-Mobile discount as the account no longer meets promotion eligibility criteria'. Gives a link of t-Mo.co/activity but after logging in provides no detail as to what is involved. I've cross-checked via the main T-Mo app and can't find any reference there either....only thing I can think of is maybe the prior govt/work related discount I had under Sprint, but not sure. My upcoming mid-Oct bill still reflects the same charge as the past few months as well.

    Oddly the unlocked version is strange for GPlay System updates. Finally picked up one tonight, restarted.....and it's still reflecting July 1. Which, I've seen that behavior before, but after the locked version mention of an August update, I expected to finally see it here as well.

    I don't see any VoNR option under Mobile networks on my S22+ unlocked either, just to chime in from that angle.
