Yes I was referring to Sprint Wimax, since Clear was only based in the Honolulu area at the time which is probably the reason you had it before you got Evo4G. At that time, I was living Kailua, so it took way more time for any upgrade to swing over there. Right, Oahu (Honolulu market) is usually the first island to begin upgrades, etc, but Summer 2010 to finally bring in Wimax just to Honolulu after its been on the mainland years before it is way behind. Plus by then, Wimax was already starting to wind down. Like I said before, I won't be surprised if it takes a year or more to finally get things started. And to add to Robert's post, I wouldn't be surprised if Hawaii doesn't start NV/LTE upgrades there for another year or so. It took Sprint forever to bring in Wimax and 3G EvDO to the islands. Hawaii is usually the last to get anything usually because of cost and the massive amount of red tape. Just look at the amount of protest there is when a mainland company wants to try build anything there (Best Buy, Target, etc). Oahu seems to be more progressive than Maui, BI, etc. so I can definitely see them getting the upgrades first before any other island. I'm not trying to sound harsh, it's just reality. I like it so far. There are a few hiccups here and there, but I'm sure they'll be fixed as time goes by. The two main issues for me are that I feel the app is too sensitive while scrolling through threads (keep accidentally clicking on threads) and the issue where there's a password prompt for the sponsors section. On Tapatalk 2, I saved the entire forum as a favorite and would be able to access it no problem, but on Tapatalk HD, it still prompts for a password. Guess we need a new workaround to access those sections... again. Otherwise I'm happy with my purchase.
