I can't say with 100% certainty that there is no B26 in Albuquerque yet, but since we are still only maybe a third of the way rolled out for B25 and I have yet to capture any B26, I don't think it's around.

Your observations seem valid, but I don't think that explains my phone getting thrown onto 3g constantly in an area that doesn't have any B26 deployed even though we have B25.
I worry that Sprint won't have the clout to fix it with Google. Either that or the voice of s4gru members who are actually in the know how about the real issues will not be heard by Sprint.

A question for those much smarter than I. Is there a way that someone who is familiar with radios could dive into the new .13 radio and decipher what change was made to enable spark? Could this be implemented into a previous radio? I know this would probably not be an easy task, but it was a thought I had earlier.
I understand that. I wonder if it's just too many variables to optimize to get the n5 to connect to every band optimally across carriers. Does anyone have insight in to this? When they are adjusting or releasing a modem are they adjusting physical voltages or tuning similar to tweaking clock speed on a processor. I assume it's not exactly the same, but it would make sense in my head that since radio performance seems to be variable across modem releases that it's just one big balancing act to get the radio to perform well on all the frequencies it's designed for.

So they just announced ios 8. I'm watching the live blog on Engadget. Did anyone else notice that the screen shots they used of ios 8 were definitely a different aspect ratio than that found on the 5s?

I'm betting Albuquerque gets "launched" in a few weeks. I'm seeing lte all over the place. Notice the mapping I just did on the north end of tramway down paseo. That was probably at least three towers I was connected to.

Same problem with me. I'm pretty sure there is no tower here
Also on my nexus. This did not show up until recently. Not a big deal at all, just an interesting observation. The photo was generated by the signal check coordinates.

This is the correct thinking. We will never have too much mobile bandwidth with the increase in the number of connected devices. It's all about providing a solid connection to each connected device no matter the tower load.

I know it can take a while to get the software update working, but this seems a little long. Unfortunately, I'm expecting some response about how it's not launched here and blah blah blah, but I'll give it a go.

Would it do any good to report eCSFB problems to Sprint? There are a couple sites that have been problematic for nearly a month in ABQ. Kind of sucks not being to leave lte on using the nexus 5.
