Continue from above... Borrow some of the settings or parameters from the GS3 radio chips and then use them as baseline parameters to adjust/test on the e4glte? Sent from my Coconut Wireless
-
I'd say since the e4glte has the same radio chips as as the GS3 as some have stated here

I'm petty sure I read I am this thread? That some here could at least manupilate the search/seek time When searching for a lte signal? Sent from my Coconut Wireless

I would say just set the 4g threshold - db higher I.e 130 ish before it disconnects from 4g.. And at the same time set the 4g scanner timer to a faster rate. You could do this with the og evo. Which made connecting to 4g wimax a lot faster and it held on the the 4g signal much longer in weaker conditions. Only thing was the battery life took a hit Sent from my Coconut Wireless

Upgraded 3g speeds all of the sudden
HawaiiD replied to mikey227's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Robert, I am still getting 8-12MB DL on my og Evo on Wimax. However, I havent seen a 2MB DL on 3G in months now. I usually Average about 300KB to 600KB DL now. What the heck happened? I have updated PRL and Profile. -

Thanks for the timely reply Robert. I guess my next question would be? At the latest? Is it possible we in Hawaii could be waiting till 2014 before LTE network goes live or is Hawaii(although there is a NV coverage map for us) might not get LTE? Thanks again Robert Aloha, HD Sent from my Coconut wireless ooo/ -

Comments related to the NV Running List Thread
HawaiiD replied to MacinJosh's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Aloha Robert! It is almost 5 months since I posted this question? is there any new information regarding Hawaii? I know we have a map which you have posted with coverage after NV is completed. I would like to know weather Hawaii will make the 3rd or 4th round of NV/LTE roll out? Or if there is any schedule date for the upgrades of Hawaii's towers to commence? I have given my Wife my Evo 4G LTE (which BTW is an awesome phone) and reactivated my Rooted Cm7 O.G Evo. Once you get a taste 4G(6-12MB DL here) you can't go back to 3G (.800-2MB). I mean 3G isn't that bad here. However, you will notice a huge difference especially when Browsing the internet, downloading apps from the market,Youtube HD, and Netflix. Example... Olympic live App 40+MB. With 4G Wimax about a about a minute and a half at most to download. Tried updating with 3G? forget it. Hit update and went to have lunch. I give you all credit for those of you that are using a 4G LTE phone with no 4G signal. I personally can't handle it. Hopefully Robert has some information? Mahalo! HD -
On my OG Evo I can talk and surf at the same time when I am on Wimax

Or Honolulu where gas is $4.17 a gallon And my 3 bedroom 2 bath house cost me nearly 700,000 And not to mention no LTE in sight

Robert do you dare to speculate what locations or markets will get 800MHZ LTE? -
PCMag Tests Sprint's LTE Network
HawaiiD replied to gregoryleeds's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Jeff, Glass half full buddy. I'd rather have those pissy customer staying put on their networks with their capped data plans. That way we Sprint customers can enjoy our unlimited data with LTE (unburdened). And if current Sprint customers are going to leave? I say... Don't let the door hit you on the way out! Sometimes a negative can be a positive! \ooo/ HD -

Hi all! I have been noticing that me E4GLTE doesn't send all of my text. What happens is when I reboot my phone say a date later my family and friends receive the text after this reboot. I am using my old Go messenger pro. I have updated my profile and prl several times. Anyone else experiencing this or possible solution? Thanks HD

Right now in Honolulu Hawaii? Lately, I average about 400KB download. The signals are pretty strong all over. Before last December 3G used to be 500-700KB max. There was a time between December and couple of weeks back my speeds wouldn't go below 1.4 MB download max of 2.4MB. And now it seems if Hawaii was updatd last December? My question is? What was acutally updated? Because the it seems like the speed went back to what it used to be. And so what will 3G speeds theoretically average after NV completion? http://newsroom.sprint.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=2120

Here in Hawaii on Wimax I average about 7-12 MB Down and max of 1.5 MB UP. On 3G I get a Ave of about 1.5- 2.4 MB Down and 400KB-900KB UP I never heard of anyone gettting Anywhere near 5MB UP on Wimax. And as Muffinman said I think it was just last summer that Sprint upped the cap on Upload speed to 1.5MB http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-reportedly-boosting-4g-upload-speed-cap-15mbps

Will sprint release a new airave that support LTE
HawaiiD replied to darn18's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Sandman I had the same time text problems as you. Airvana supports said they never heard of this problem that maybe I should reset my femtocell. Which is didn't do anything to solve the problem? I said, Hey it is a known issue. It is all over the net. The response I got was that it maybe was only a few people who had the same problem as me. And it could be my isp quality of service etc, etc.. They had me do some test with my signal, And my qos was good.. They said well that would put in a ticket for a fix And that in a few weeks it would be resolved. That was in January. This is may and I still have the problem. I will never get anything from Airvana again. They can't standby a product they make. -

Any word on Hawaii? Honolulu to be exact. we were on the first wimax launch list. Would this be a reason why I have yet to see Honolulu on the Lte list? Thanks for any information. Aloha \°°°/
