Has Sprint done any triband upgrades to add B41 too Duluth yet? I'm going there next month and Sprint was terrible there in the past.
Nothing I’ve seen beyond what’s already there. Mall area is lacking it... where other carriers have tons of spectrum deployed and Verizon is even building small cells. Good luck.

Yeah, but this is in roaming territory and definitely not on their coverage map.

310-120 is most certainly Sprint.

Am I seeing this right? Sprint is broadcasting a 3x3 B26 here in Williston, ND? To note, the 1x is what Verizon broadcasts as out here.
Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
Yeah, near the borders some of their B26 channels might be 3 MHz.

Comcast
They have big bucks [emoji385] and they already offer Mobile Phone Service.
As someone else mentioned, buying up Sprint would allow Comcast to stop paying Verizon for service.
If the Sprint+T-Mobile Merger does not get approved, I do kind of hope that Comcast can get Sprint, since that work for me personally, since I am already stuck with Comcast Cable TV/Internet/Home Phone.

Yeah, a Spectrum or Comcast merger would be ideal in my eyes. Deep pockets with generally good wireline networks. Perfect for backhaul to small cells.

Which merger are you talking about?
Probably AT&T/Time Warner.

Anyone know what the Pixel 1, 2, 3 are cable of?

Pixel 2:

Couldn’t find anything for the Pixel 1. Looks like it supports 3xDL CA... Likely nothing in UL CA, but others would know better than me.

Intra-band means within the same band. Don’t you guys mean Inter-band?

Maybe roaming. But yeah zero spectrum since att is very very limited

AT&T has the most spectrum by a wide margin under 2.5 GHz. What part of their spectrum portfolio is “limited”? 170 MHz on average nationally whereas T-Mobile and Verizon are around 100 MHz and Sprint ranges between 45-65 MHz at best.

From what I understand, E-UTRA neighbors are other bands on the cell site.

Nice pictures. Looks like someone's colocating a new Nokia / ALU build to the site. Based on the antenna and radio configuration I'm guessing Verizon is the likely culprit.

Verizon is Ericsson in MN. Only carrier that’s ALU/Nokia is AT&T. T-Mobile is Nokia only.

And those 4 are a fraction of what Sprint has up in the city. What is your point? That Verizon the largest US cell company has more than the smallest company. Sprint did not claim to have more than Verizon. My point was there are more than one. Where is the user generated maps for small cell deployment for that market. No one even uses cellmapper in that market. All the data is old for most towers 1 year + at least. Cellmapper will show small cells if you know what frequency.
Have you ever been down there? Sprint's small cell deployment is paltry compared to AT&T and Verizon's C-RAN deployments.

Most likely didn't look hard enough need Signal Detector logs to really find them but here are a few that I was easily able to find on street view. Would have been easier if there were more 2018 data but still able to find a few.
Not sure who else uses the "walrus" design but Mobilitie does use it in LA.

Is that the only 20x20 in Duluth? TMobile is 10x10 B2 and 4x4. Looks like they're also deploying B71 not sure what the current BW is. Vzw is 15x15 B4, 5x5 B2 10x10 B13 and also got 10x10 66 not sure if they deployed that yet

Yeah it is. T-Mobile’s widest channel is 10 MHz (AWS and PCS), Verizon has 15 MHz B4, but can go 20 MHz once they decide to attach the G block AWS-3 to it, and they also have J block (a 10 MHz block). Not used to seeing uploads this high so far north!

AT&T widened their AWS from a 10x10 MHz channel (EARFCN 2100/66586) to a 20x20 MHz channel (EARFCN 2050/66536) after what I would guess is acquiring the A block license from Nsight in Duluth, MN. This happened Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Take a look at the G7 ThinQ. I've heard that recent LG phones (V30 and newer) have some very impressive RF performance, and the G7 is a 6 month old phone going for under $400 on Swappa.

That’s good to hear. Have you tested how weak (dBm-wise) LTE signal can get before dropping to CDMA while on a VoLTE call? I believe you can see dBm values updated every second or so in the Intel field test...
You don't drop to CDMA and carryover a VoLTE call. It goes from VoLTE to no service, and the call drops.

I wish they announced a single name of 1 of these "225+ cities"... how is anyone supposed to know where to expect to see Gigabit LTE? I doubt they have the backhaul for 99% of these sites to see past 300.

I'm curious about how much BRS/EBS spectrum Sprint holds where I live. The FCC spectrum dashboard no longer seems to be maintained... is there an easy data base to find this information?

Can anybody confirm or deny cross carrier HD Voice with AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon?

I've had better performance in general on my Xs over my X on AT&T... does anyone know if UL CA is supported on any frequencies other than 41?

I saw Verizon prepaid roam onto Sprint 1X in Duluth, MN in April of this year.

Does the Pixel 3 at least support HPUE?
Yes it does.

Responding to a few earlier posts, Sprint does have an Ookla server in Minneapolis and they were put on the Verizon neutral host iDAS at the MOA.

It's about time. Hopefully lilotimz or wiwavelength/s4gru can answer, but with eHRPD, can calls hand off from LTE to CDMA? Has Sprint made any progress with this? I noticed that it was mentioned earlier but nobody really got a clear answer.

It’s on in the rural areas. A 10 MHz channel and a 5 MHz channel. Saw it at Jay Cooke and up in Eveleth. Nothing in the city yet. You might want to activate an AT&T prepaid sim if you’re going to be up here longer than a few days. AWS is a 20 MHz carrier now and there’s lots of B14 and 66.
