  1. Has anyone have problems with Wi-Fi in Lollipop? Wi-Fi access point that have been connected lose connection and a "authentication failure" message impedes an automatic reconnection to the access point. A manual connect or switching on/off Wi-Fi fixes it. Also I'm not seeing great battery life and I guess it's Wi-Fi related. Anyone else with a similar experience?
  2. That would make sense as opposed to refreshing every other year each version. Or, keep the Nexus 5 until next Fall, and release both at the same time. Either way, having 2 versions of pure Android Nexus directly from Google would be a great move for Nexus fans.
  3. $399 would be a great price for a device with those specs, considering the competition. What components would be sacrified to achieve that? Battery, wireless charging?
  4. If true, I wonder for how much would it go for. Having the Moto X (2014) as a reference point at $500 and the Note 4 at $700, what do you guys think would be the price for this beast? Affordable phablet?
  5. Just saw an interview with Sprint's CEO talking about his vision and plans for the company's future. Talked passionately about the new iPhones and their new $50 plans exclusive for it. After watching I couldn't help but think that even though Motorola has a Moto X Sprint-capable model, the company choose not to carry it among their devices to protect iPhone sales. Remember when Sprint got the iPhone and pledged to sell a bunch of millions of iPhone as part of the deal? Will we ever know?
  6. Local news coverage of Sprint's CEO recent visit to Puerto Rico. Spark with band 41 imminent. http://m.elnuevodia.com/detuatuconelceodesprint-1859161.html
  7. So when does Google usually posts the official factory files? After 14 days or the same date it starts the OTA? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. Has anyone received an OTA notification? Stock users? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. Just received a SMS from Sprint stating: " SprintFreeMsg: Over the next month, the new network will be largely completed in your area. See new phone offer at http://sprint.us/upgrade1 Reply S to stop." I know there are 23 sites still waiting for LTE upgrade probably due to backhaul. Any ideas about how much more for full completion of NV in the PR/VI market? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Does anyone in Puerto Rico with a Nexus 5 has the voicemail notification fixed with update 4.4.1 or 4.4.2?
  11. I guess standard voicemail notification directly from carrier to the OS without an app, like Google Voice or other visual voicemail apps. Press 1 on the dialpad to access it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  12. 4.4.2 supposedly fixes the voicemail notification problem in the Nexus 5, but after sideloading the update it still doesn't work. Does it work for anyone?
  13. Tried it and got your same results. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  14. Will stop a the Sprint Store during the week to see if they can help me out. I'll say this, would love to see in future Android versions Google Voice features integrated into the phone and messaging apps. OEM's have done that through their skins. Don't know why Google Voice it's still just available to the US market, but an OS integration of its features would solve that and make Android a more finished OS in my opinion. Thanks for the input. Love the Nexus 5 though.
  15. Thanks, will try it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. I do get missed calls notifications, but I could ignore a call. That's a good point but even flip phones get a visual notification of an unheard voicemail. My point is that it should work. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. Did setup voicemail by pressing 1 on the phone app. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. It works like that. The thing is I could have any number of voicemail and not be aware of it. That's the problem. No notification. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. I can't use Google Voice so voicemail is almost absent as I have no clue if I have voicemail or not. Annoying really, specially because users in the US don't have that problem by using Google Voice. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. Will check that out. Thanks. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  21. Anyone have seen an armband that works for the Nexus 5? Would like to take it for a nice run. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Let me know if it works for you. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  23. Two days using the phone and no issues with LTE connectivity. The PR market is 100% 3g NV Complete updates and like 88% LTE completed. We are lucky. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  24. Got the phone yesterday from Sprint, its great and luckily I don't have any issues with LTE connectivity whatsoever. Works great out of the box. My only gripe its with the voicemail. Receive a call, let it go to voicemail and it won't show any voicemail notification. Have to dial 1 to go into voicemail to check if I have a voicemail. Can't do Google Voice, because it doesn't work in Puerto Rico. My last Android phone (Gingerbread 2.3) at least I received a visual notification that I had voicemail. Now nada. Besides Google Voice, anyone receives a voicemail notificaction? Any ideas?
  25. What app did you replace Hangouts with? I'm not crazy about it, specially switching from iOS 7 where iMessage is pretty good. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
