I've had it for weeks as a test subject.

No TBD. Just like MB Gen 3s ethernet / wifi BH. =(Any time frame for the release of the Airave 4?

The pending Airave 4 would supposedly be mostly pushed to residential folks who likely have decent home ISP while MBs will be more for business and commercial entities. So the Airave and Gen 3 MB/CDMA module will co-exist for what reason?Ofcourse there's nothing stopping one getting a MB for a home if they want to and vice versa with an Airave 4.

Incorrect.Airave's have been canceled. As far as I know Gen 3 MB is the planned replacement once they enable ethernet backhaul and some type of CDMA module to go along with it.
Airave 4 is the successor. GEN 3 MB has the option for a CDMA module but it will utilize the ethernet connection.
As the ethernet / wifi alternative backhaul mode is not ready or enabled on the Gen 3, one can see why the Airave 4, which is a close relative of the Gen 3 Magic Box, are not released yet.

Yep.
As of now the only actual NR equipment are Sprints 2.5 M-mimo units and a few 28 GHz units for Verizon, tmobile, att, and the like.

No. NR requires new M-MIMO hardwareSo the 5g map link that's going around displays that 5G is available in my location in Az. I don't have any of the 128 mimo antennas around me. The 8x8 where added last summer. My question is. Would they be able to split the 8x8 antennas And run 4x4 in 4g and 4x4 in 5G? This would be a short term fix of course.

Is there any change this guide could be updated with photos of the new RRH C4s?
Added. I'll try to find more pictures of the C4's in various config (triband ant, dual band ants, octoports, etc).

Interesting information. Any idea on the total number of Samsung systems deployed within Sprint?
Approximately 17,000 give or take a few hundred due to ongoing Clearwire conversions or new colocations.

We have lots of macros in Seattle with PCIs up to 440.
Very true. I've noticed some in my market as well. Though generally speaking it's a good rule of thumb.

A good rule of thumb is PCI > 400 is highly likely to be a small cell or mini macro of some type.
PCI > 480 is usually a femto cell class device like an Airave 3 or a Magic box.

Are you saying that a Sprint SIM currently being used in an unlocked S8+ will also be able to be used in an unlocked S10+ even though they have different part numbers in Sprint's system?
Negative.
The S8 uses the BYOD 506TQ which is the C sim card in the 4-in-1 kit. The S10 uses the D sim card in the kit which is the 516TQ.
The regular Sprint sims are SIMOLW416TQ in the S10's vs SIMOLW416Q in the S8's which are different.

Time to see what the P3 has to offer....

Spreadsheet has been updated to include more devices with more to be posted as I get through em. Also included a link to Sprints website to purchase the 4-in-1 sim card kit.

Before finding the post I am quoting I gave Sprint this number 760492044714 from your spreadsheet to order a sim for the unlocked s10+ I plan to purchase and use on my one year free BYOD plan. Did I order correctly? Thank you
Yes.
760492044714 is the part number for telesales, sprint care, etc.
At physical retailers they have part number 760492044707.
They're both identical SIMOLW516TQ cards but have different part #'s for inventory purposes.

On another forum, people are asking what will be the correct sim for the unlocked Samsung S10. I think that will be a recurring question. Could you possibly confirm what it will be?
Thanks!
The 4-in-1 sim card.
760492044707 SIMOLW516TQ 760492044707
Alternatively this would work as well.
CZ4114TLWQ 854798005224 SIMOLW416TQ
Spreadsheet has been updated to reflect this.

I'm not sure...I posted the pic of the model # if that is telling. I got this one through a different channel.
The posted one is the GEN 1 OG (AU545) release model with the E-Ink display. Gen 2 is the same unit with a LCD display with ID AU544. There's also a hospitality version AU546 that has better aesthetics and water resistance.
I wonder if they modified that unit you got with active cooling as all the MBs and radios these days are passively cooled using heatsinks.

S1000 is an indoor LTE femto cell produced by commscope / airvana. Same LTE unit that's inside Airave 3's.

I know they used to use Cisco MWR2941's but they were EoL'd in 2013. Does Sprint still use them or have they since been upgraded?
If something so critical as R&S at a cell site is EOL'd then they're likely long replaced. Most recent Sprint sites that are documented use newer generation Cisco routers / switches.

Then it has never been updated.
Mine never moves from WiFi. if I reboot, it never completes the boot up process.
The update hasn't pushed yet.
Basically the unit cannot establish a connection whatsoever back to Sprint over IPSEC.

No 2.5 ?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkDoesn't appear so but they do have two hybrid cables snaking up the tower. Second hybrid cable is usually used for 2.5 so keep an eye out in the near future for an 8T8R RRUS82 setup or AR6468.

No it appears they're using 16 port antennas, so tri-band. M-MIMO antennas will be separate and much smaller.
