  1. Marcelo's new LinkedIn Pulse Post about his "Listening Tour": Dispatches from the Road: My Listening Tour – San Francisco Great read.
  2. That's so awesome to see. Sprint's DAS capacity upgrades and the addition of two channel CA was a big help!
  3. This new plan is non-discountable. Unlimited My Way has the discount applied to the Data portion only. Everything Data has the discount applied to the entire price, if I recall correctly....
  4. I believe it's 3GB of Hotspot per line. As I understand it, it's throttled to 2G once you hit it. No overages.
  5. Trying to figure this out for myself... We've got 6 lines on Unlimited My Way with a Corporate Discount.
  6. You'll lose your "Unlimited Guarantee" if you move.... You also won't be able to do 2 Year Contracts. If you have a Loyalty Credit on a Lease, you'll lose that as well. You may wind up saving money, but keep these things in mind.
  7. But a price decrease if you have 4 lines... relative to the 2 Unlimited Lines for $100/month and each additional line for $40 Plan. Four lines on that plan was $180/month and no hotspot. Four lines on this new plan is $150/month with 3 GB hotspot. In fact, you can get another line for $30/month... so five lines for the old price for four... and you can keep adding lines up to having a total of 10 lines total. Imagine being on that Family Plan... even better than Framily Unlimited Pricing.
  8. Seems so from the language. Unless I missed it, don't see where it says "new customers only".
  9. Yup. Northern CA: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_California
  10. According to a post in /r/Sprint, Sprint's new unlimited plan pricing starting on 2/12/16: Looks like a solid response to T-Mobile. EDIT: LINKED FIXED
  11. Some additional info from the Earnings Results Briefing for Q3/FY2015 (SoftBank Group Corp.) Link: http://www.softbank.jp/en/corp/irinfo/presentations/ See the Presentation Material (PDF) Webcast It's clear that Sprint has turned the corner and is improving quarter after quarter.
  12. Sprint published an infographic for the 2015 Super Bowl. See here. See this FierceWireless Article. (The original link to Sprint's infographic from this article no longer works) The game was held in Santa Clara, CA. That's not So. Cal.
  13. It's great to see how Son is expressing faith in Sprint's turnaround. See his statements in these news articles: http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/517a0974-cfdc-11e5-92a1-c5e23ef99c77.html#axzz3zmvFy6Zi http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-10/softbank-earnings-drop-as-son-struggles-to-turn-around-sprint
  14. Great question... Not sure, but we do know Marcelo isn't happy with how much he has to pay Verizon for roaming. Hence his move to secure numerous LTE Roaming Deals with rural carriers. See this article: Sprint CEO: Without Net neutrality rules, we're toast
  15. Still hoping Sprint actually releases an infographic like AT&T/Verizon/T-Mobile have done, but at this point, I'm doubting it will.
  16. You don't have to advertise on TV during the Super Bowl to make a big splash. Just ask Oreo, which did it with a Tweet. Sprint was smart to save its money on this.
  17. I'm thinking of the infamous "Can you hear me now" guy from Verizon... Seems like it would also be useful on Sprint. Drive testing with Direct 2 You cars ensures service is solid where new customers are and can improve retention/reduce churn.
  18. Marcelo just made another post about his "Listening Tour": Dispatches from the Road: My Listening Tour – Kansas City Also, he just Tweeted that he's making the rounds in Washington, DC:
  19. Yes... but they only get the RootMetrics results twice a year as far as I know... Publicly anyway. Maybe there's non-public data they receive more frequently. Using the Direct 2 You Cars (containing measurement gear) to augment this testing would be a smart play. The cars are already on the road, and the testing gear is essentially automated.
  20. Seems the trend is to do that "live action background" now on home pages... I see it PayPal too.
  21. Video is only limited if you have "Binge On" switched on.
  22. Levi's is an outdoor stadium, which had a substantially upgraded DAS, while NRG Stadium in Houston has earned the nickname "No Reception, Guaranteed", even though it has a retractable roof. There's clearly no macro network to fall back on if the DAS isn't up to snuff. Based on those articles, it seems like a lot of work needs to go into that DAS for next February's game.
