So a lot of news sources are saying that Softbank is giving up most control of Sprint to T-Mobile on the merger. 

Do you think Softbank has a long term plan on buying T-Mobile once the merger is complete?

I'm not in favor of this merger if it does go through.

Be nice if Sprint had a backup generator on most of their towers. All the new Verizon towers going up around me have backup generators. Even saw one site that had natural gas generator.

Another question. This phone is the unlocked version of the S8+. There is no voicemail app. 

What have people been using for voicemail on the unlocked version?

Little bit easier on my eyes :-) I like the colors.

I upgraded one of my lines from a Note 4 to the S8+. When I went through the initial setup it installed over 100 apps which looks like from my Note 4 phone. 

What have you been using to copy everything else? ie - SMS, music, pictures, etc

I ordered directly from Sprint.  They gave me a a big discount offer on the phone so I went that way. 

How did you get the discount? They are not offering me any discount on the phone. I just paid off my phone few weeks back so thought they would give me discount offers but was wrong.

Went back today and that area around the store shows connected to small cell. Where on the forum does it show pictures of these small cells?

I went to a Sprint Corportate store last night and they had a MB running as SCP was showing MB. Speeds weren't too bad. 

After visiting the store I went next do to get food and wanted to see if it was still connected to the MB but now SCP was showing B41 SC.

What does SC stand for?

Is Sprint putting up any Macro site's each year? In my area I see Verizon putting up new sites in severl places.

Check your account online anyway. I have lines where it's shown as $40/month, but with a $20 credit bringing it to $20/month total. I received an email from Sprint about it, but I think if you just start the process of leasing it then it'll show the credit.

 

From what I'm told, it depends entirely on how likely Sprint thinks you are to churn. It's like a retention credit.

If you're activating a new line Sprint is doing 50% off. Not sure if it applies to upgrades.  My Note 4 is paid off so I'd jump on it if they gave it to me for the promotional price.
