  1. Vzw has deployed 100's of them in alot of areas, att is working on them. Sprint is adding them in LA, Miami, NYC. Other areas are plan. I live Minnesota a couple popped up. Haven't seen here in the twin cities. Yet away. Lastest claims were Winter. Sprint needs small cells and, macros in MN still to many drops to 3G.

I haven't seen any small cells in the Twin Cities. I'm on LTE most of the time but I agree I still see 3G a lot. They need to keep improving.

  2. This phone can be so weird sometimes, the last few weeks have been terrible for battery life I was to the point of doing a clean install but all of the sudden it's great again wth lol.

I've noticed this too. Battery seems worse.

  3. Its sad to watch this whole thing play out. This is probably one of the most feature packed and well made devices ever. Also comes at a time that Google has made questionable decisions on the Nexus front.

I want to keep my Note 7, but I'm also worried about its support in for the near term, will it get all those fancy features turned on? (like 4x4 MIMO 256Qam, 3xCA) will we see Android 7 for it? Also its resale value is completely in the gutter.

My device has been running really well and I am pretty happy with it in its current state. But its reputation is tainted beyond repair at this point.

I would probably consider the Pixel XL, but with no wireless charging, no IP67/68 and huge thin its not necessarily an upgrade.

Curious to see what you guys have in mind?

I still have a Note 7 unopen in a box. Debating about using it or selling it and getting the Pixel XL phone. I agree with you that the Note 7 name has gone to the gutter. If I use it and people ask what phone I have I won't ever stop hearing about them starting on fire or keep it away from my house, car, etc.

  4. No issues on my first note 7 before recall, and no issues with the replacement

Note 7 is def a great device. Even though i dont like snapdragons.

Its an upgrade from my note 4, and i actually like it is water resistant: a grrat trade off from having removeable battery.

I feel like the incident from southwest airlines could an isolated problem but felt like something forced it to burst into flames

I'm interested to see what Samsung has to say about this phone once they exam it.

  5. Many already do have a DAS. Some of them are still 3G though.

True. All the casinos I have walked through get 3G. I don't think I have seen LTE in any casinos I have stepped in.

Now LTE outside and in the conventions centers.

  6. Just did mine this morning and was a pretty easy transfer other then having to reinstall everything again.

I'm using the Official Samsung screen protector. It fits really nice and is made for the curves. It also fits well with my Spigen Case.

Did they tell you anything about the $25 credit?

How is the phone so far?

  7. Mine was replaced yesterday morning at BestBuy. Made in China on 9-11-16.

Love everything about the phone with the exception of the useless to me curved glass and the resulting fact that there is no worth glass screen protector for it.....or a film one for that matter that will actually stay on with a case. Using a Diztronics TPU case as I have on every other smartphone I've used. Arthritis in both thumbs and I have dropped all my phones numerous times and never once suffered anything more than a cracked screen protector with this case. Of course now there is no screen protector.....

Nothing seems to have changed. Phone runs really smoothly with the only exception being when I first open the Applications section in settings and there it stutters scrolling through the list for the first 10 seconds and then it's fine.

Does BB have it in stock for sale besides replacement stock?
