  1. It's literally called "CurrentWidget".
  2. So I no longer use the OEM charger since it started charging my phone at a low amperage, less than 500mA. And I'm not sure if this was the root cause but my battery life was terrible. I eventually started to use my HP touchpad charger which actually charges it at 1.5A and my battery life improved. I've been using current widget for the past 6 months and it seems to fairly accurate. I'm thinking that it could just be the jack on my phone that might be slightly damaged since the USB cable was once yanked out due to someone tripping over the cable.
  3. Has anyone else had the problem of having to unplug and plug back in your charger just to to be able to charge at the correct amperage? I use current widget to monitor the amps while charging and initially when I plug in my charger it's below 500mA but after several replugs it goes up to 1A or higher. I do understand that it may not be accurate, but it seems to match up against how long my phone reports it should take to charge.
  4. Well if that is the case why isn't 5.0.1? Also, I've started to notice that my phone starts to feel warm for no apparent reason. No new apps installed it just gets warm and the battery drains alot quicker than normal.
  5. Not sure what else you could do then. Doing a factory reset seems really unnecessary. Did you go to saved networks to see if your network still appears there and if so removing it? The only odd things I've seen with 5.1 is my phone will get stick in landscape mode or play music simply just won't work.
  6. Have you tried removing that profile and adding it back again? My WiFi still works after the update but I did see an instance where it didn't want to connect to my home network.
  7. Does anyone else experience huge battery drain from Google Play Music? It almost seems as if it drains more now than it has in the past.
  8. My wife's phone got it a few days ago but I haven't seen it yet.
  9. It looks like Google has stopped selling the nexus 5 in its current form. http://www.theverge.com/2015/3/12/8198535/google-nexus-5-stop-sales
  10. Could very well be plausible but every since twc started the upgrades I've only had one night without internet at home but that was in the middle of the night. But yeah something is up because my wife's and my phone were having a hard time with texts and mms.
  11. I agree and I think what makes it annoying for me is that with the nexus 5 it seems to get stuck for time to time in 3G so I have to manually disable and then re-enable the radio. But nonetheless it's a much better experience with b26 being live now.
  12. I've noticed the same thing but it varies from day to day. It's really annoying and it drains my battery like crazy. I first noticed a few months ago where for a few days I had no b41 at all at home. It still occasionally happens and at work as well. Hopefully it's just the towers being optimized.
  13. Did this fix the memory leaks as well?
  14. I actually reboot my phone every now and then. Surprisingly it started to work again without a reboot.
  15. So this hasn't been mentioned before and it's rather annoying but almost all the time now hepatic feedback stops. It works for a bit then stops all together. Whether it's the keyboard or the three buttons below. Anyone experience this?
  16. You should check with other users in your area to see if they are experiencing the same issues you are. It could be that your area could be experiencing issues or they are tuning the towers. I myself have noticed that I drop to b25 a lot more than I have in the past.
  17. I actually was able to get the MSL using adb thankfully. I try not to call customer service if I don't have to.
  18. I have a sprint sim and I can still enter the menus but when you want to edit something you need to enter your msl. Which is really annoying considering I brought my own phone that I bought from the play store. When I was on t-mobile I never ran into an issue like this.
  19. Go to your dialer and enter *#*#3282#*#* that should be all you need to do.
  20. So much for project volta. I'm sure there are a number of things affecting battery life like possibly the memory leak. I wish Google would let the stock battery monitor give a more accurate picture of what is causing the battery drain.
  21. Do other phones running lollipop (moto x) have this same problem and inconsistent battery life?
  22. I have no experience with the nexus 6 but I do see the same lag issue you described on the 5. Both my wife's and my nexus also experience apps frequently crashing. I'm trying to avoid a system restore but it may come to that.
  23. Well for me that's great because on days like today I have 80% left with 12 minutes of on screen time. It's so annoying. I can't really blame a bad or weak signal since both usage stats were from my desk at work.
  24. Travismheim, that's good to know and I might resort to a factory reset. I just can't believe that the battery life is this inconsistent. Today my battery has been great. I have 84% left with 30 min of screen time.
  25. Let us know how that goes. My phone drained 20% in 2 hours and I wasn't even using it. This phone's battery life has been so frustrating.
