oh man! i cant wait. i know ppl will compare big reds LTE getting 30mbps but 14mbps is amazing to me and what do i even need speeds that fast for, that awesome i cant wait, my home internet is 25 down and i dont even need that

i have an iphone5 but have not had the joyous experience of LTE, so when the I5 gets LTE does it show two sets of signal bars or the bars just now represent LTE not 1x, thanks

i agree, some people just stream to stream because its unlimited andthat does lead to abuse. I use on average 4-6gb/month on my line, i just like the fact that i dont have to watch or worry how much data i use. As for speed throttling not for nothing if i can use 4-6gb with sprints current network speeds i dont think i would mind being throttled at 2 or 3mbps as long as its consistent. I stream netflix and other video apps not at an average of .75-.98mbps. :-)

@s4gru from another post you told me that the completed percentage for central jersey would def have to be higher than %40 to go live due to the density in this area, so it is possible that alot of sites have been upgraded but sprint isnt flipping the switch because the coverage would be way to spotty? On a side note for anyone, anywhere in Jersey our state is not the easiest when it comes to pulling and receiving permits, getting road closures to dig and add fiber, getting town, county state permission, that with the delays from the lovely hurricane Sandy last year im sure is not making Sprints life easy in New Jersey.

Being as most other countries never had unlimited data and now sprint is the only carrier with truly unlimited data, what speculation is out there that if the Softbank merger goes through we will continue to receive unlimited data.

I have a few iden phones that I use for off network I will def have to power one on that day and watch it go away for good

I do quite a bit of driving and am always looking for the contractors at a cell site to be doing some kind of NV upgrades still haven't seen any in my area yet, would love to see the equipment going up

I noticed that we have slowed down quite a bit I figured at first it was due to storm sandy but it's been a while and the weather is breaking figured they would start moving quick again hopefully soon

So sprint is still doing legacy updates? Isn't that kind of a waste with NV updates coming..especially in a first round market?

What are the chances that all the iden sites have been setup so that when they are shut down the 800mhz voice will be turned on?

on sprints website they have a page where u can put your zip code in and they will tell you the upgrades ie 1 voice upgrade or 1 data speed upgrade etc. If a tower in my town shows any of these upgrades does this mean that it has gotten NV upgrades? The 2 towers i hit in my town each show 1 data speed upgrade each but no LTE in my area. Just wondering if this is a separate upgrade or part of NV. Tks

Just wanted to correct myself the 3 markets I'm watching all moved up 1 to 3% so not huge progress but progress none the less

i live in the heart of central jersery market, i was wondering if anyone else in this area has seen any NV work being done on any towers any where in this market. i do alot of driving around and havent seen anything. have a multi part question, first what is the most current Iphone5 PRL, and does this vary by market. Do i need to manually update the PRL or will sprint auto push it through a carrier update like the one i got when i purchased the phone. Last we road trip frequently from New Jersey to NW Indiana and New Jersey to Orlando area FLA. ive seen that certain markets iphones have different PRLs letting them utilize 800smr 1x and other NV items that have been lit up in their areas. If im travelling down 95 will my phone be able to use these features not lit up in my area or will i have to update the prl,,or will it update once it realizes its in a different market. PHEWWW!!! Sorry for all the questions new to iphone from android and love the future with NV. If im in the wrong topic or there is a better one to post this in please let me know Thanks
