I really hope this post was meant as a joke...
I alerted a few family members that were Nextel to Sprint converts, hopefully the issue is already resolved. As digi noted, it's probably just an overlooked switching/routing issue.
-
Many people will leave Sprint over this. This is a multi billion dollar company. People at Sprint are not doing their jobs!

We have a 25% discount...my mother is a postal carrier. A government job is good for something!!
We originally had Nextel 10+ years ago, and they only offered 18%. After the merger it went up to 25%.
Nice. Did you sign up using her name or just showed proof?

I said if they didn't have Verizon's permission, there could be serious consequences. Of course, I know what will happen even if they didn't have permission at the time, T-Mobile will probably pay Verizon so they don't say anything.

Looks like Engadget did some of their own speed test...? I would assume this is not the same thing..

hmmmmm...... looks like this will end up being more for me in, not by much though. Currently i have the 1500 minute family plan with 4 lines and the 3000 minute family plan with 5 lines with an 18% discount on the first line of each plan, all are smartphones so before taxes and fees my total is 443.13.
with these new plans, assuming i'm calculating the discount correctly it would be
50+40+30+20*6 = 24030*.82*9 = 221.40for a total of $461.40 which is $18.27 more than I'm currently paying.if i add back in the taxes and fees my current total per line is $54.38, the new amount per line would be $56.54.So while it would suck that prices are going up its not enough to cause us to want to switch, i'd rather have unlimited data with the better coverage of sprint than switch to tmobile, and us-cellular would still be more per line. How did you get 18% discount?

This is technically possible but not recommended. Any rep you talk to on the phone that RECOMMENDS this avenue either truly knows what they are doing and can set it up right (very, very few reps can actually do this properly since it is not a supported account configuration), or they are an idiot.
Multiple minute pooling plans can cause A LOT of billing issues, especially if they use the same pooling code (i.e. same exact plan).
Different plan pooling codes don't usually have that issue because it's a different coding structure to determine minute use and allotment, but it is still not recommended due to possible billing issues related to how the system operates.
Thanks for the heads up!

They have a business essentials plan. Call and speak to someone in business dept.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
Sprint will call me back in 1 hour as we need to analyze the best option. Can the business essentials be shared? Unlimited data option?
-
Just got off the phone with Sprint, they said it is possible to have multiple of the same everything data plan on same account. Looks like we can do multiple 1500 min plans. Doing that for 10 lines make sense compared to the new unlimited plan for 10 lines?
-
Site is up, no changes on plans.
-
Yup, just waiting for the site to go live and see what's up.
Site is still down after the timer zero out. What is the best plan for 13 lines? We are currently on 1500/min Everything Data and on a 20GB Small Buz share plan. Can we have 3 of the Everything Data plan on business account?

Any news on the New Sprint launching TDD? Possible announcement during 2nd quarter meeting? Will Sprint phase out Clearwire brand? Would be nice to get New Sprint internet hotspot unlimited on TDD.

And how about T-Mobile using Verizon's A Block during the press event in NYC, boosting the indoor network to 2x10Mhz, while on the streets of NYC you get sub 30Mbps on an unloaded network?!
John Legere tweeting himself 67Mbps at the event: https://twitter.com/john_legere/status/354971407375011841
How deceiving is that!
Someone needs to set the record straight and tweet!

I have seen a mix at the stores. Most use Sprint since I figured they got it for dog cheap.. A few have had ATT when I saw their phones.
They get their phones for free according to a conversation I had with some of the employees at Sprint's San Diego busiest store. Some employees does have Verizon because they are part of a shared plan of someone else's account where they don't want to be paying ton of money for their own plan. Other than that, free phone, discounted plan.

As you can see, it looks like an internal TMO site. The "permanent" link is:

Check latest 4G LTE cities
Do they really have LTE in all those cities?

Softbank is planning $16 billion in capital spending at Sprint Nextel Corp. over the next two years. True of False?
What can they do with 16 billion into the New Sprint network? How can they make this money back?

I had posted this earlier somewhere, but is it accurate with 3x3LTE? http://www.extremetech.com/electronics/160033-its-dead-jim-sprint-iden-has-finally-been-shut-down
3x3LTE is better than no 800mhz!

Looks like at least one 5x5 LTE and 1 CDMA carrier, for a grand total of 12.5MHz (6.25 each direction).
Would that mean San Diego can get LTE using 800Mhz?

Any word when San Diego will pre-launch?
-
I know some areas that are low traffic 100mbps may not be justifyable. Also some remote areas that are not microwave fed it may just not be feasible to run that capacity. And whattttttttt I hope your not paying 1400 for a 50/50 circuit. I hardly pay more than that for dedicated gigabit.
That is the cost here in San Diego from AT&T and Cox. Have delivered 50/50Mbps to several clients. Maybe cheaper for Sprint since they ordering wholesale bulk.
-
I have the best sources imaginable. Yes the idea would be 100mbps at every site but its not feasible in a lot of places.
Why only 20/50Mbps?? They can do 50/50Mbps which will cost around $1400/month. Legacy sites average 6xT1s which cost about that much.

The fact that in San Diego, AT&T provides back-haul for itself, Verizon, T-Mobile. It will take some time because AT&T will take its precious time. Eventually it will be done. Most sites in San Diego that has Cox back-haul has LTE.
