  1. Is the NGN fully funded from sprint's income or will it require more equity or debt issuance? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Att is also more likely to give you more data to keep you from leaving. My sister has $100 for 30GB (instead of 10) because they threatened to leave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. But they have volte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. CDMA and lte are not inherently compatible. The upgrade path for CDMA operators was supposed to be Ultra Mobile Broadband not lte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Also agree. http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/aac64fde-f7aa-11e4-8bd5-00144feab7de.html?ftcamp=traffic/partner/feed_headline/us_yahoo/auddev&siteedition=intl Paywall Son states 3 months ago he wasn't sure sprint was gonna turn it around. But now says he's confident Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. As well as being the largest investor in Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, SoftBank has plans to invest $10 billion in India's potentially huge but under-developed online retail market. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/softbank-posts-9-percent-drop-065014774.html?.tsrc=applewf Hopefully after the meeting we'll hear a concrete number for sprint like the one softb gave for India. 7. Wouldn't license it you'd buy the same chips in iPhone 6. You don't need a special license to do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Depends how compact you want it. Qualcomm CPU+baseband+rf (same one as iPhone 6), Quad sim interface, Basic display. Basic software to indicate chart. Materials isn't so much. The biggest cost is to hire a Chinese contract engineering to put it all together and as engineering projects go, this one would be very low cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. You're overthinking things. Normal people wouldn't care about this only wireless geeks. Normal people pick a carrier based on PERCEIVED quality, experience/word of mouth, and price. What you're suggesting is a quad sim device which would be a low volume super high cost device. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I think doing the tmo test drive results in a credit check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. He thought the aws3 spectrum was covered by band 4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Point taken on both points. Summer 2014 sprint had barely started 2.5ghz. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. TMO offers 1 week testdrive while sprint offers 0 weeks. How can you be upset at TMO? Actually sprint offered a month … for about 2 weeks then they scrapped it back in June 2014. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Sure valid points but until sprint or other carriers at least match TMO testdrive …something is still better than nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes that is true. But sprint also needs a "testdrive" like TMO but 2 weeks instead of 1. Negative personal experience and negative word of mouth trumps graphs. A zero cost trial is the only thing that will convince people to switch carriers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Follow up: marcelo said "the reason why sprint users cancel isn't because they can't get 30mbps but because their internet does not work at all" during not this recent quarter's earnings call but I think last one's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I totally agree 10mvps is enough. But from an advertising point, all a consumer is gonna see is "sprint is last". I'm not saying sprint should chase the rootmetric ratings either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Finally! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Though it's weird they're boasting; sprint is last overall and last in download and upload speed. The network definitely looks good there but if someone goes to rootmetrics site they'll see sprint is last.
  19. Since Chicago is dense, even suburbs, I'm curious about their in building coverage. Download the ookla speedtest app and do lots and lots of speed tests. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I still can't believe the DT will contribute in any way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I wonder when they'll go from 10fdd to 5fdd of total Hspa. Depending on what their Chicago speeds are, they may have to do it sooner than they'd like in that market. I know Indy is already there but that's out of necessity - 10fdd AWS, 10fdd pcs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
