now i have been thinking. Between the note 3 and the g2 which do you think i should get?
-
i will probally get the note 3 on the one up program, i just hope it comes out before sprint stops the $0 down payments. By the time I have all three bands up and running where im at it will be time for an upgrade again.
-
i am tempted to do this, but only problem is i have a small crack in the phone. small one on the edge above the usb port. so i probably wont be able to trade my s3 in. i have a pic below showing where the crack is. I drew a line where the crack is.

Samsung is also working on 5g, tests gave them 1 gbps.
-
What exactly are the advantages to HDMI in?
makes it a pass thru so it doesnt have to take up an extra hdmi port.
-
None here....I pretty much stick to PC gaming.
Same here
-
5g would be close to 1 Gbps. Who needs that on a phone.
-
my cousin asked me and i was sure.
so wifi uses 2.5 ghz, and sprint is using 2.5 ghz for lte. What keeps it from causing interference from another. or causing congestion

I work as a claims adjuster and had a claim few weeks ago where my insured drove through a car wash with his boat and damaged the car wash.

Wow, there are some dumb people out there.

Good point. My iphone 4 can only get 25mbps from my home connection but my laptop gets 35mbps. Wired its 50mbps.
I get 95mbps on my PC WiFi. 28mbps on my s3

Google translate is ur friend
-
I'm sure excited about all this. I can't wait to have a triband phone, but Sprint tells me I will have to wait till June of next year.
its a good think im eliglible for an upgrade in may

Really? I noticed my moms note 2 when she got 4G. held it for like 20 seconds longer. But I also got 4G where she couldn't on her note 2.. and It seems I have more bars at times
Don't forget the bars is only the signal strength for 1x. Not LTE signal strength.

It's taking a lot of restraint to not make a joke about this.
That being said, I don't hate my ISP, I just wish they had some competition. They have the coax monopoly so unless you want DSL, it's just take what you're given and hope it doesn't hurt too much.
I get 95 mb/s down

this is why i like cox

I hear AJ walking up....
Actually there is a MCS index for 600 megabits on N with 4 spatial streams (MIMO).
Since our phones only have one wifi antenna you are limited to 1 spatial stream and since many are limited to only 20mhz channels it becomes less. Depending on the guard interval the router has at 1 spatial stream at 20mhz you are limited to 65 or 72 megabits based on the GI. And generally rule of thumb I've found is to cut this in half for real data rate. So basically this is why the Note2 and many other phones at 802.11n 2.4ghz you are limited to about 35 megabits.
I see this with my home wifi when doing speedtests on 2.4ghz. When I switch to 5ghz where I have a 40mhz channel and my device can use this 40mhz on the 5ghz side, I can hit a speedtest around 45 mbit down which is probably due to my bottleneck at the cable modem then.
Also be aware that some laptops only have on spatial stream so they will also cap out at 65/72. Then another laptop might be handshaking at 200+ megabits right next to it. I see this all the time with the various devices on my router as the device list on my router shows the current handshake rate for up/down on each device and the signal strength/quality of each device.
I get 100 mb/s on my PC. With my s3 on the same network I get 45mb/s

I work in a grocery store. Were not suppose to have them on us. I do cause on several occasions a customer wanted to know how to cook something. I pull out my phone and look it up. When I do that they realize that they can Google it to. Lol.

The key for successful 2.5 TD-LTE deployment and really make use of the spectrum and an impact on the overall Sprint network is to expand the TD-LTE footprint to at least the top 100 markets in the metro areas which means beyond the current Wimax markets. This is my hope for Son and Sprint to spend the necessary capex to accomplish this.
is there a list of the top 100 markets anywhere

How did you get 18% discount?
I get 22%

Have you been reading any of the posts in this thread? So many people, including contributing authors, have shown that THIS IS A PRICE INCREASE.
Individual plan did increase only by $1

So what are we going to see right away? How about places with no LTE get some damn LTE or is everything they have been talking about going to take forever?
It won't take forever. But it will take time. You won't see any big changes overnight

i find it funny, when some people dont want a tower anywhere near them, but at the same time complain that they have crappy service.

Anyone know the full price. Or the price per month with one up.
I won't mind it being single band since I won't be able to take advantage of triband till mid next year.
