i got an upgrade in July of 2014, and it says i am eligible for an upgrade in December 2015, Wonder why it is 17 months for me.

I don't think Sprint has to choose sides on this. I don't see why they couldn't allow both Google Wallet and Softcard. I just think its silly to play the odd man out game again like they did with Wimax and later regretted it. Also the carriers have been pretty good with offering incentives for using the mobile wallet system. However I still find Google Wallet to be very limited especially since it only supports Mastercard. If anything I see Apple Pay succeeding since it supports Amex, Visa and Mastercard off the bat.
Google wallet supports more than master card.
It also work on AT&T now. not sure about verizon and tmobile

I rather have wallet.
Plus after the KitKat update, google wallet should work on other carriers to.
My cousin has a gs3 on AT&T and after the Kitkat update, wallet worked

Can anyone tell me why Sprints 4G LTE maxes out at 38 mps download and around 9 mps upload? IT seems like every other carrier can surpass at least 40 in the right area and most carriers get more then 15 upload ive seen.... I guess sprint Spark can do much better but not many places with that.....
It depends on what band you are on. And how many people are using it.

Maybe I missed it, but thought anyone could switch to the $60 unlimited plan?
no.
one line has to be off contract, be on an ez plan, or start a new line
-
it sucks that everyone cant get the $60 plan. basically stuck paying $20 more a month for the same thing.

the quad chopper(spider) Is $100.
other $160.
the battery life on the minidrone, 20 min
the batterylife (flytime) on the spider is 7-8 min.

True. But it does mean that you can get to your cap faster because you are receiving data faster. The corollary is how people said you could only use x amount of data on Sprint because the speeds were so slow. Also, human nature being what it is, most people will feel encouraged to use more data thus reaching their cap sooner.
true, back before NV on the crappy 3g, i would be lucky if i got close to a gig a month, now that i have LTE. I get about 2-3 gig a month.
-
Is that wired or wireless?
wireless, took the test on my galaxy s5.
though i only it that speed once. i average about 115 mbps
-
I use COX and i am paying for 99 mb down
this is what i get

If you have ART enabled, you system status goes from official to custom. And you cant install updates.
-
That's amazing really. I heard they weren't supporting ART until next iteration of Android.

I am running ART on my S5, running good, havnt ran into any problems yet.

https://plus.google.com/114721707153992450318/posts/Gg9UDMZsagF sums it up nicely. On paper the S5 is great. The screen is gorgeous, it is fast, rf seems to be pretty decent, really nice camera, but touchwiz is still ok at best.

I dont want samsung to make it more like stock Android, Stock android is boring

i got the S5 yesterday, and i love it.
Screen is great, good camera, like the new Touchwiz(i find stock android boring)
The fingerprint scanner works everytime for me. glad i upgraded to it.

A lot of users still have their s3 and the s5 is around their upgrade time.
That being said the s3 prolly left a bad taste in their mouth with signal issues and charging port issues. Touchy power buttons and crappy battery life come to me right off the top of my head as well.
Wouldn't be surprised if people are holding off to see how it does first.
i have had my s3 since it came out, i haven't had any signal issues(the ones that i did were sprints doing, cause by NV ugrading).
Charging port still works great

What's difference between regular sponsor & premier sponsor?
read this post will tell you all about what you get as a sponsor and how to be a sponsor

As much as i hate coming to Samsungs defense, it may just be that most people upgraded to the S4 last year. Its really hard to sell 50 million plus copies year over year.
have all the people who still have to s3 about ready for an upgrade, i am one of them

Or asking the local Sprint store to get people onto your Framily. Most of them will be happy to oblige. ab30494, how many people do you have on your existing account?

just me

i was thinking of switching. But don't have enough people to do a framily plan, so it isnt really worth it to me at the moment.
-
Mind sharing why?
It is available to order via telesales or online.
I don't like the design. Camera on the gs5 is better. Plus I like amoled screens better.
-
Looks like I will be getting the galaxy S5.
-
Looks like sprint will give you one for free if you go into the store.
just looks like $0 down with easy pay
